West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is looking to strengthen his recently promoted side by
reportedly pursuing former Real Madrid veteran Jose Maria Guti.
Guti, 35, was released by Turkish outfit Besiktas at the end of last season and if a deal is
agreed in the coming days, the player will be able to join the Hammers' pre-season in Austria as a
free agent.
What Felix needs to know: all potential transfer targets need to be on the official DFL transfer
list by 12pm tomorrow. All paperwork for the transfer needs to be send to the DFL headquarters by
6pm tomorrow.
Here is what Felix already got done since Saturday or is currently busy working on:

I like HSV. [Grumbles.] I don't like Juventus. [Grumbles again.]
That said, to put them on the same level, now or at any point in the near future is a bit much.
Quite a bit much. The Hamburglers don't quite have Juventus' name or stature. Or money. Or players.
Or potential.
It seems that Spurs and Juventus have crossed paths over several players this summer including
Giuseppi Rossi and Mirko Vucinic and there is an interesting story emerging over Hamburg's Dutch
winger Eljero Elia.
Elia plays as a left winger or as part of the front three and fans may remember some cameo
performances that he put in the wing for Holland at the 2010 World Cup.
German outfit MOPO is reporting that Dutch youngster Eljero Elia is set for a summer
exit. The talented midfielder currently plies his trade at Bundesliga club Hamburg, but he has
failed to nail down a first team place after disputes with his manager.
Manager Armin Veh recently criticized the midfielder for his lack of match fitness.
1. Contrasting fortunes for the Liverpool representatives. Dirk Kuyt and Daniel Agger both got
themselves on the scoresheet, but both for Holland. 2. The first comedy own goal of the World Cup.
A true landmark moment for OTP. 3. But Kuyt's hair was definitely the biggest own goal on display.
4. Eljero Elia is much less [.
It wasn't quite Germany 4-0 Australia, and it wasn't the fluid Oranje football we were all hoping
to enjoy, but the Netherlands made a decent start to World Cup 2010 by comfortably beating Denmark
2-0.
There were chances for both teams early on, with Netherlands Robin van Persie, Wesley Sneijder
and Rafael van der Vaart all looking keen if not lethal, and Dennis Rommedahl (still only 31, I
feel like he's been around forever) looking dangerous for Denmark down the right.
When PES lands you in hot water It just isn't a major tournament without tension and division in
the Holland camp. That's why Hamburg's Eljero Elia decided to allegedly insult Morrocans during a
live internet video broadcast. Elia and Ryan Babel were filming themselves playing a Pro Evolution
Soccer tournament against each other while streaming the thrilling [.

Liverpool's owners are preparing to scoop £100m with a new rights issue, and will fund
their manager's transfer-based desires, which include the 22-year-old Dutch midfielder Eljero Elia,
who only joined Hamburg in August from FC Twente.
As we wave goodbye to another season of Serie A, Juventus can reminisce a wonderful campaign in
which they claimed Scudetto glory and lost just once in all competitions. It may have ended on a
sad note with the farewell of Alessandro Del Piero and the Coppa Italia final defeat to Napoli, but
the work of Antonio Conte and all involved is to be commended.
Juventus missed the chance to join Milan at the top of Serie A after being held to a 1-1 draw by
Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Wednesday. Juve went in to this rescheduled clash having
drawn the past two matches and Antonio Conte surprisingly started Marco Borriello in a trident
attack with Mirko Vucinic and the returning Simone Pepe.
Juventus were crowned Serie A Winter Champions after one of their most controlled performances of
the season on Saturday night. Atalanta have proven to be tough opposition for any team, especially
at home where their only defeat prior was to champions Milan. But, the Bianconeri overcame early
frustration to eventually overcome the Nerazzurri with relative ease.
During deadline day of the 2011 transfer window, Juventus went out and purchased Eljero Elia, a
talented 24-year-old Dutch winger. Somewhat a controversial transfer, the Torino based club bought
the player for 9 million Euros making him one of the more expensive signings of the summer and only
1 million less than the price paid for Stephen Lichtsteiner.

Hamburg SV maintain their great start to the season with a convincing
3-1 win over Stuttgart, New signing Eljero Elia, fresh from his
first goal international goal in the week, put in a man of the match performance, providing the

Phew! It was that time again, and as per usual things were manic. We at In The Stands struggled to
keep up with all the kerfuffle and constant will-he-wont-he debacles. However, after much
journalistic endeavours, we have managed to finally pin down the most significant transfers on a
thoroughly exciting last day of the transfer window.
Who Will Fill the future Ranks of Liverpool following the Summer Window?
by Thomas Atzenhoffer on The Bleacher Report April 18, 2011
Alex Livesey/Getty Image The summer transfer window is quickly approaching, and with so many names
in the press over the past few months as possible targets for the Reds, it seems like it would be
prudent to try and weed out the ones that are actually feasible.
With the chances of Manchester United making a big name signing this summer receding faster than
England's chances of ever winning another World Cup, attention should turn to some of the
outstanding...

Here we find ourselves slap bang in the middle of another damn international break, only this
one is even more torrid than others as there are barely any meaningful internationals to hold our
attention.

Despite having produced some of the world's most gifted players, it has never been quite so

Ryan Babel and Eljero Elia do what all proper footballers do on their time off: play video

put themselves on the internet, only they had clothes on.
They didn't inform Khalid Boulahrouz of their plans, so he entered the room thinking all was
