Amigos de TM, en la Bombonera hoy no servía otra cosa que ganar y con esa ilusión la banda de
Homero llego a su lugar en tierra santa.
Lástima que con el correr de los minutos la ilusión se fue, un partido muy pobre, sin grandes
jugadas y con pocas situaciones de gol, salvo las llegadas de Gaitán y el peligro latente que
representa Martin (hoy no estuvo fino con las dos que le quedaron), el resto del equipo está sin
rumbo.

Amigos de TM, a pesar del calor insoportable la Banda de Homero estuvo en Tierra Santa, el rival
era el peor del campeonato, Chaca viene mal y a pesar de la victoria pasada sigue sin jugar bien y
Boca se aprovechó de eso, sin ser una maquina supero claramente a su oponente.
Al equipo del Coco le alcanzó con 45 minutos para sacar la diferencia, Insua marcó el primero, la
vuelta al gol del pocho es una gran noticia y Gaitán metió el segundo a puro Tiki Tiki, el Pocho
puso la asistencia y Nico definió con clase, el pibe volvió a ser el de sus comienzos en Boca,
ahí se terminó todo, solo faltaba ver cuántos más hacia.

Milagro 1: Lanús empató un partido de visitante, estando 2 goles abajo, con uno menos y faltando
3 minutos.
Milagro 2: el gol lo hizo Peralta y de cabeza.
Milagro 3: Peralta juega al fútbol profesional y vive de eso.
Al margen del chiste este punto es un poco de oxígeno para un equipo que venia golpeado por el

Our first ever poll question was who was the best player to ever suit up for the Mutiny. The
overwhelming winner was Carlos Valderrama [right in that sweet Kappa bicycle jersey] with 73% of
the vote. El Pibe is in my opinion one of the best play makers to ever play in MLS.
He was one of those special players that only comes around once in a generation or so in a country.

players to ever play for a Tampa team (not to mention the best mane).

Reports this morning out of Colombia indicate Fredy Montero will be called into the Colombian
National Team. From my vantage point, this is a potential big step towards MLS regaining the ground
its lost in South America since about the year 2000.
For years, I have stated that MLS' quality of play and quality of international signing hit a
high water mark in the 1998 to 2000 period and then dipped thereafter and has only begun to recover
in the past few years.

I was conversating with Kartik Krishnaiyer after a Miami FC game and this topic emerged. Although
people don't want to admit it, there is quite a history in this town. Memory Lane was a place that
we visited and all of these names started to surface. It was incredible as the history we started

In the modern game you always hear stories of players being prima donnas or trying to get a
bigger contract or making a move to a big club just for the money, but Ciro Ferrara was a player
who was none of those things. Ferrara was a model professional, a consistent performer, and even if
he wasn't world renowned during his playing career he is simply one of the best defenders Italy has
ever produced.

Big rumor from TuttoSport today (which is a Turin-based paper) claiming that Juventus have
struck a deal with Sampdoria to bring Antonio Cassano to Torino this summer. Cassano has always
been linked with a move to Juve (Bari had given Cassano two options, Juve or Roma, and Cassano
chose Roma because it was a better city) and then the Bianconeri have always shown a certain
interest in El Pibe di Bari the past few years.
