Gale Agbossoumonde has accomplished quite a bit in his young career. At 20 years of age, Agbossoumonde has already received his first senior national team cap, played in Europe and won a U.S.

The following table shows the average age of player that each of the competing nations fielded during the group stages of the Africa Cup of Nations 2012 in Gabon/Equatorial Guinea. As expected Cote D'Ivoire's fading golden generation who are attempting to win their nation their first major trophy since 1992 is one of the oldest squads at the tournament.

U.S. Under-23 national team defender Gale Agbossoumonde is set to finalize a loan move to the NASL's Carolina RailHawks today, sources told SBI.

The 20-year-old Agbossoumonde has been on a constant quest for consistent playing time for the better part of the last three years, having stints with Sporting Braga in Portugal, Djurgardens IF in Sweden and Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany yield few first-team minutes.

As yet another January camp enters the United States Soccer history books, let us take a quick look back at what has transpired and what we have learned from the camp.
Rosters:
Typically US roster announcements are desperately anticipated, usually overly analyzed and this camp was no different.

Jurgen Klinsman, Jermaine Jones and Ricardo Clark. The first a German, and famous at that. The second a mix of American and German, currently playing his club ball with Schalke 04 in der fatherland. The third born in America, a defensive midfielder in the 2nd Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt. Could it be some hidden understanding from this shared German-ness that pushed Klinsman to pick Clark off the bench, and for Jones to find the late substitute with a perfectly dipped cross?

For 90 minutes the U.S. Men's National Team dominated play against Venezuela on Saturday night at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz, but couldn't find the goal they needed to take the lead. Substitute Ricardo Clark finally had the answer with a stoppage time header to give the U.S. a deserved 1-0 victory.

U.S. Under-23 national team defender Gale Agbossoumonde has endured a rough road in his quest for regular playing time since turning pro two years ago. With a recent stint at Eintracht Frankfurt failing to deliver him playing time, Agbossoumonde looked poised for a move to Major League Soccer.

New England Revolution midfielder Benny Feilhaber is among the 20 players called in by U.S. Men's National Team head coach Jürgen Klinsmann for the team's annual January training camp, which will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 3, in Phoenix, Ariz.

The annual camp held in January for players in their offseason is a largely domestic-based group that includes 18 players who ply their trade in the United States.

The Houston Dynamo announced today that centerback Geoff Cameron has been called into the US Men's National Team's annual January camp. This is a whole bundle of good news, the main piece being that the knee injury Cameron sustained in the first half of MLS Cup, the one that kept him from clearing Landon Donovan's chip for the game-winner (and we all know that absent the injury, that would have been cleared, right?

Jurgen Klinsmann has called 20 players in for the U.S. Men's National Team's January camp. The selections leave many nodding their head in agreement as several players who have been left out will finally get their shot. Barring injury or schedule conflicts, the current group to take on Venezuela and Panama looks like this:

Defenders: Geoff Cameron (Houston Dynamo), A.

The annual January friendlies are set for the US Men's National Team and now the roster is out. Fans will finally get to see the likes of FC Dallas defender George John and LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez in action for Jurgen Klinsmann as well as MLS Rookie of the Year CJ Sapong.

Out of the 20 players called up, only two were not from MLS.

Centerbacks Omar Gonzalez, George John and Geoff Cameron and attacking midfielder Benny Feilhaber are all part of the crew that will train in Phoenix and at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

United States Men's National Team head coach Caleb Porter named five Philadelphia Union players as part of his 28-man roster for the Olympic squad's December camp, today. The Union players make up the largest group of club teammates on the team.

Freddy Adu, Zac MacMath, Jack McInerney, Amobi Okugo and Sheanon Williams will head to Florida from December 15-28 to train with the rest of the under-23 team at the Premier Sports Campus.

Caleb Porter has named a 28-man roster for his first camp in charge of the U.S. U-23 men's national team, and there's talent aplenty.

Freddy Adu, Teal Bunbury, Mikkel Diskerud and Bill Hamid are just some of the more well-known names in the eight-day camp that will be held in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.

While the USMNT has their January "Camp Cupcake" coming up, the US U-23s will head to Florida under the direction of new coach Caleb Porter on December 15th, to participate in their own camp ("Camp Junior Mint?") in advance of next year's Olympic tournament.

The camp will be held from Nov. 7-16 at the Sportschule Wedau, a German sporting school where the players will train and stay.

*Midfielder Jose Villarreal, a Leuzinger High product, and defender Zarek Valentin, who made 24 starts for the Goats this season, were among 31 players selected for the camp, which will run Monday through Nov. 16 in Germany under Claudio Reyna, U.S. youth technical director.

Yesterday was the end of the European transfer deadline. As many of you know it was a crazy day with players going here and there and teams making last second deals. We had 22 Americans move during this transfer period, most of them happening yesterday.

Germany appears to be the latest stop in Gale Agbossoumonde's quest for club stability.

The United States Under-20 centerback is set to join Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany's second division, the same club that currently employs U.

Transfer deadline day is just around the corner.

What Felix needs to know: all potential transfer targets need to be on the official DFL transfer list by 12pm tomorrow. All paperwork for the transfer needs to be send to the DFL headquarters by 6pm tomorrow.
