Sacha Kljestan has quietly put together a solid season for RSC Anderlecht, but he made some
noise in the club's latest win on Sunday.

A trio of Americans saw the field for one team this weekend, but it is not the trio you might
first think of.
Mexican-Americans Edgar Castillo, Joe Corona and Greg Garza received minutes for Club Tijuana in
its Clausura opener, a 1-1 draw with Morelia.

Landon Donovan did not lead Everton to victory in his return match for the club, but he will not
have to wait long to get another chance at that.
Donovan and Everton will take on lowly Tamworth of England's fifth division in a third round FA
Cup match on Saturday.

U.S. Under-23 national team defender Greg Garza has left Under-23 camp in Sarasota, Florida to
finalize a move to Club Tijuana.
Garza is set to sign with the Mexican First Division club after a successful trial in recent
weeks. He's joining a squad with two other Americans on the roster in U.
Amobi Okugo is training with SC Freiburg after a strong showing at the Olympic camp in
England.
Zach Pfeffer is also in Germany, training with the U19s and U23s of Hoffenheim.
The Union announced that they have added 3 minority investors.
Peter Nowak has nothing but praise for Keon Daniel and says the visa issue is still being worked
out.

Lauderdale Strikers midfielder Bryan Arguez.
The former U.S. U-20 international, who had a stint with D.C. United in 2007, helped the
Strikers reach the NASL Championship Series this past season.

Herculez Gomez and DaMarcus Beasley square off while Edgar Castillo and Michael Orozco try to get

Herculez Gomez scored twice to lead Tecos to victory over Santos, DaMarcus Beasley went the full 90
in Puebla's loss to Toluca, while Michael Orozco and Edgar Castillo both failed to see action.
It's a weekend of Americans trying to escape the bottom of the table as DaMarcus Beasley takes on
Toluca, Herculez Gomez takes on Santos, and Edgar Castillo takes on Chivas.
Remember when you read that Joe Corona was all set to play for Mexico and pass on the chance to
play for his actual country of birth, the United States?
Well, scratch that one. It seems the LA-born Corona is ready to follow in the footsteps of Jose

Jurgen Klinsmann's appointment as the head coach of the US Mens National Team was met with
excitement for many reasons. The stagnating program looked at Klinsmann as a proven winner who
could help reestablish the USA as the dominant nation in CONCACAF while helping to build a system
to make the Nats more dangerous in international competitions and against European opponents.

Landon Donovan out for the latest USMNT camp kicking off this week.
The U.S. men's national team's roster for October's friendlies is expected to be released this
afternoon, and while we will find out soon enough just who Jurgen Klinsmann plans on taking a look
at in the upcoming matches vs. Honduras and Ecuador.
There have been several players who have stepped up in the week's following the last U.
...for our friends Stateside, anyway. Europe has til Friday. Most of the individual USMNT ratings
are okay - Dempsey could've used a small boost - but on what planet is Maurice Edu a 66? That gets
a 9.9 on the Parchman WTF scale. And you couldn't find a pic of Edgar Castillo that didn't have him
mid-bowel movement?
In Mexico's Primera Division, Edgar Castillo and Club America drew at Azteca against Michael Orozco
and San Luis. Both National Teamers played the full ninety. San Luis's Wilmer Aguirre opened the
scoring in the 30th minute, with Rosinei equalizing for Club America three minutes into the
second-half.
After a wild Tuesday night involving Los Angeles and Colorado, the other three MLS teams in the
CONCACAF Champions League group stage hope for better results as they continue their push for the
knockout round.
Columbus and Houston also square off in a crucial league game riddled with Eastern Conference
implications.
The US National Team walked away from friendlies against Costa Rica and Belgium with two 1-0
losses, but with Jurgen Klinsmann still kicking the tires of the program he inherited, it is the
individual performances that are of greatest importance for US fans as the red, white and blue
builds toward qualification for the 2014 World Cup.
When the USMNT lineup that would face Belgium came out last Tuesday the sight of Steve
Cherundolo and Timmy Chandler in the squad led to the immediate realization that Jurgen Klinsmann
was getting serious about his search for a reliable left back.
Chandler responded to the positional switch with a surprisingly steady defensive
performance.
It's finally over. This two-game-in-five-day stretch for the US national team has come and gone,
and the team now has a full three matches under Jurgen Klinsmann.
How far along has the team come under Klinsmann? What progress has been made?
Despite the less-than-stellar record - the U.S. is 0-2-1 under Klinsmann - progress has been made.
