FC Wisconsin Eclipse claimed one win in the inaugural round of the "Eclipse Derby."
Lindsey Weiss, Taylor Kerwin and Celina Nummerdor scored as the first-year Wisconsin club's Under-14 girls team beat their rivals from parent club Eclipse Select 3-1 in Elite Clubs National League play Sunday in Oak Brook, Ill.
The first "Eclipse Derby" will have to wait a few weeks.
FC Wisconsin Eclipse's Elite Clubs National League matches against Eclipse Select scheduled for last Sunday at the FC Milwaukee Complex in Germantown were postponed due to inclement weather and rescheduled for Nov. 4.
The Wisconsin club, in its first year of existence, is an independent affiliate of the Illinois club.

Manny to its staff as the club's Director of Senior Goalkeeping. Manny also will serve as the head
of Eclipse Select's College Assistance Program.

Illinois State women's soccer team beginning in 2013. The Lake Villa, Ill., native and Lakes
Community High School junior had narrowed down her search to Illinois State and

both athletics and academics. The Hinsdale Central High School junior will continue to do so in
college as she has made her verbal commitment to play for Princeton's women's soccer team, as well

for Creighton University's women's soccer team. The Tinley Park, Ill., native and Andrew High

headed to Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes.
Tiemstra, a graduate of Hinsdale Central and a two-time Big Ten Conference Defensive Player of the
Year out of Ohio State, was selected by San Jose during Tuesday's 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft.

Grove Village, Ill./Elk Grove) re-signed with Women's Professional Soccer's Philadelphia
Independence, the team announced Friday. Buczkowski was named to the 2011 WPS Best XI and was named
the team's 2011 Ironwoman after logging every minute of the 18-game regular season last year.

Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumna and former Notre Dame midfielder Jen Buczkowski is coming off a
successful third season within Women's Professional Soccer.
The 26-year-old Elk Grove, Ill., native was named to the 2011 WPS Best XI as voted by select media,
and her Philadelphia Independence advanced to the WPS title match, eventually falling to the
champion Western New York Flash.

Robert Kleinberger. This winter the team has incorporated a heavily Women's Professional
Soccer-based roster to face the U.S., Canadian and Mexican national teams.

(Buffalo Grove, Ill./Stevenson) was named to the 2011 NAIA Men's All-Mideast Team, the NSCAA
recently announced.
Earlier this month, Gurson also was named an NAIA All-America Honorable Mention as he made an
immediate impact for the Eagles after transferring from Memphis.

CHICAGO -- Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumna and Duke junior midfielder Nicole Lipp (Lake Forest,
Ill./Lake Forest) assisted both of her team's goals as the Blue Devils defeated Ohio State, 2-1, on
Sunday to advance to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
Duke had to overcome a 1-0 halftime deficit, and Lipp stepped up in the 54th minute as she took a
free kick from the right side and found the feet of freshman Kelly Cobb to tie the score at 1-1.

Ohio State University's women's soccer program.
The New Lenox, Ill., resident and Lincoln-Way Central junior announced her commitment to play for
the Buckeyes starting in 2013, and she joins a Big Ten Conference program that created some
national attention last year in advancing to the NCAA Tournament's Final Four.

CHICAGO -- Eclipse Select Soccer Club alum and Ohio State senior defender David Tiemstra (Clarendon
Hills, Ill./Hinsdale Central) was named the Big Ten Conference Defensive Player of the Year, the
conference announced Thursday.
Tiemstra, who also was included on this year's All-Big Ten First Team, led an Ohio State defensive
group that allowed only 20 goals in 18 regular-season matches, and only seven goals in six Big Ten
games.

CHICAGO (May 4, 2013) – Eclipse Select Soccer Club forward Sydney McGinnis was recognized by Wisconsin women's soccer coach Paula Wilkins when she was 9 years old.
The combination of that familiarity and McGinnis' drive to return from a year and a half injury are just two reasons why the Park Ridge native and Maine South junior stayed on the radar will be playing for the Badgers starting in the fall of 2014.
CHICAGO (April 30, 2013) – Eclipse Select Soccer Club midfielder Marissa Bosco (St. Charles, Ill.) and defender Tatumn Milazzo (Orland Park, Ill.) were named to a 30-player roster for the U.S. U-15 Girls' National Team.
They are teammates on Eclipse Select's U-15 Elite Clubs National League team, which has won 13 straight games since early October of 2012.

CHICAGO -- Reflective of their high-caliber club and collegiate careers, four Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumni were chosen among the 32 players at the 2013 National Women's Soccer League College Draft held on Friday at the NSCAA Convention in Indianapolis.
CHICAGO -- The perfect symmetry between athletics and schooling is something that every college hopeful looks for, and Eclipse Select U-18 defender Samantha Powers (Gurnee, Ill.) says she found that blend with Bucknell.
