After 2 weeks wait our team failed us, what went wrong? I don't really know, a slight attitude
problem I would guess. We need more desire to win. We need to believe..
If we still need to find a scapegoat we cannot for a change point the finger at our favourite
villains Diaby, Eboue or Bendtner.
Well, it looks like there is still some sort of fairy dust left in this world. After completing
his treatment in Serbia using the latest craze, placenta treatment, Robin was all smiles after
exiting the clinic. Dr. Kovacevic will have her hands full now that there is a whole host of other
players who would have made her clinic a very pack one.
There's another new name added to the injury list after the conclusion of the England U-21 game
last night when Kieran Gibbs limped out of the game after just 20 odd minutes. I do not know for
sure the extend of his injury but if it really is a broken metatarsal, it would mean April or May
as his return date, which will also effectively mean an early end to what was supposed to be a
promising season for me.
Well, I would be if I were one of those players having to play tonight and some nutter came
sliding in towards me with a hard tackle in mind! We cannot afford any more injuries and the loss
of any of the players mentioned below would be just awful. It doesn't even bare thinking about!
Even Sir Bobby Pires is concerned for us, but still believes we have enough strength and depth
to get through this tough time.
With RVP unavailable for a while, predictably, the consensus is that Eduardo will take the baton
from the Dutchman. However, the way the media has chosen to focus on Eduardo is almost as if the
guy has next to zero credibility compared to Robin.
Admittedly, the Croatian hasn't been at his best (considering he is 26, I suppose we should wait
another year at least for that).
This happened a couple of days ago, but, you know...(shrugs). 15 Arsenal players have been
called up for duty over the international break. The entire list can be found here.
Of the 15, only 5 Diaby, Gallas, and Sagna for France, Arshavin for Russia, and Song for
Cameroon are playing in meaningful senior international matches, as all of their nations are trying
to qualify for the World Cup.
This is what happen last time we have Wolves in the EPL
Arsenal visit Molineux Stadium tonight and it's a good oppourtunity to continue the good run
that we are currently going through. This is no walk in the park for Arsenal as both Fulham and
Aston Villa have came and gone home with only a point.
Friday has arrived, only one day to get through until we play again.
I am just glad November 5th is now over for another year – I don't like Fireworks!!
Sadly though, nowadays November 5th seems to go on for about a week, so I anticipate more
tonight and over the weekend Few odd bits of gossip around late yesterday evening and early today.
Is it me or is it a bit quiet out there? Perhaps after all the excitement from the weekend
anything is going to seem quiet. Speaking of quiet, that's not something Eboue can be accused of as
he issues the most unsubtle ‘come and get me' plea to PSG. It's all very strange.
Morning All – I did a little bit of multi-tasking yesterday, using my vast experience and
skill around the keyboard; I typed while watching our wonderful team put in a lunchtime shift at
the Emirates! Ok, I am fibbing, I just typed as I watched and corrected a huge amount of spelling mistakes
afterwards, it took an age!
With Almunia frozen out, and Mannone beginning to show understandable signs of being a little
out of his depth in the first team at this early stage of his career, the stage seemed set for
Fabianski to return to the fray against Spurs this afternoon, especially after a decent showing
against Liverpool in midweek.
I remember when top clubs began blooding youngsters and squad players en masses in the League
Cup it had always been a competition for a little rotation, but the criticism ran wild when the
likes of us and United played entirely different teams from the one that ran out at the
weekend.
These days, it is noticeable how different the media message is.
This week and continuing from the close of the summer transfer window Arsenal have been linkedÂ
with many players, the majority being more young possible acquisitions. However today I have set
out to attempt to reveal what players are realistic signings in January.
Eden Hazard
Hazard is an attacking midfielder currently playing for Lille in French Ligue 1.
Mmm Miguel Torres. Yes, he's at the Zadig & Voltaire shop opening in Madrid with a girl. But
we're not going to let that stop our wedding plans. Cheryl Cole goes to number one; wears a heinous dress. (Keep scrolling.) Is Joe Cole the most under-rated Chelsea player? Sylvie van der Vaart says when she finishes chemo she wants to have another baby.

Upton Park is where our focus is today. Gianfranco Zola's West Ham faces exactly the same
turmoil as Arsenal's previous opponent, AZ Alkmaar, financially stuttering that is.They have sold
close to 10 players since last year just to offset some of the monetary difficulties but have kept
virtually the core of the team in Robert Green, Matthew Upson, Scott Parker, David Noble and
Carlton Cole.
A draw against the Dutch champions is no bad thing or that's what I keep telling myself anyway,
but no matter how many times I say it I still feel as though someone has just stolen something out
of my child's pram while I have been forced to look on, helpless to do anything about it.
The frustration that we all feel this morning is surely proof, if we needed any, of just how
much progress has been made this season and just how much we expect.
Two wins from two games so far in the Champions League. Given our excellent form, the third one
looks likely tomorrow against Alkmaar. They might be the Champions of Holland but they just lost at
the weekend and are 6th in the table. The Dutch League isn't as strong as it was a decade ago.Â
Now most of you know that Walcott won't be playing tomorrow.
Apologies for the late nature of this blog, I'm moving house this week and having made the
slightly daft decision to do it all ourselves we're a little under the cosh. Expect sporadic
updates at best.
I suppose football is the popular game that it is partly because, while money, good management
and history will always bubble to the top over the course of a season, so much still relies on the
vagaries of the human mind.
A big thank you to all who took part in the poll. I really needed your help as I couldn't decide
who our best player was. At best I could have narrowed it down to 3 but no further.
The Poll is now closed and I have the results. (I sound like an X factor presenter!). The player
you voted as our man of the match is.
Well, well, well, yesterday was fun, and then it wasn't and then it was. At half-time we were
all sitting wondering how we weren't at least six goals clear, Van Persie and Diaby had given us a
two-goal lead within the space of two minutes and a rout looked on. Rosicky missed three glorious
opportunities but spurned them all, probably because I had money on him to score.
Lovely bit of footwork by Van Persie in the box and a snappy finish after Song feeds him of a
sloppy clearance by Birmingham. Eboue stretches Birmingham wide before dishing to Rosicky who
centers the ball which evades everyone before Diaby arrives to notch up the Gunners second
goal.
But Arsenal would not be Arsenal if it did not believe in shooting themselves in the foot.
Andrey Arshavin wrapped up a late win for Arsenal but Lee Bowyer's goal ensured the Gunners had
to work hard to earn the three points. _______________________________________________________________________________
Only two points were dropped last season by Manchester United against teams outside the 'big
four' in comparison to Arsenal's fifteen and it seems manager Arsene Wenger is going some way in
correcting that stat this campaign.
A lot has been said about today's meeting with Birmingham being the first since that fateful
day Eduardo had his leg shattered by Martin Taylor. Some say we owe them a hammering, which is true
from the point of view that we threw away three points after playing against ten men for 87
minutes, but less so for the 'tackle' itself.
Emmanuel Eboue has reiterated his commitment to Arsenal amid speculation linking him with a switch
to Atletico Madrid. Spanish newspaper Supersport claiming a deal is close to being agreed for the Ivory Coast
international. Eboue has insisted there is no truth in the stories as he is still loving life with Arsenal. Click to continue reading...
Atletico Madrid are planning a double-raid on Arsenal for Emmanuel Eboue and Fran Merida. The Mirror says Atletico Madrid sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch has made it clear that he
wants to sign Arsenal duo Eboue and Merida. That is unlikely to please Gunners boss Arsene Wenger who has already been left annoyed by
Barcelona's constant public declarations they want to sign captain Cesc Fabregas. Click to continue reading...
