This is the exact pose Sergio Aguero makes on the way to the Manchester Market
every Sunday for tea and biscuits! Can't blame the bloke, he's really enjoying life at the
club.
We know you Scousers aren't entirely happy about losing 3-0 to
Mancini's Men last night, but that's how football is.
A run of three home fixtures is a welcome site as Spurs look to push on in the second half of
this season and secure a top four place at the very least. Following West Brom this evening,
Tottenham entertain Wolves and Everton in the league and while nine points is perfectly possible,
Harry Redknapp is warning against any complacency.

Now that England are safely through to the Euro2012 Tournament Finals in Poland and
Ukraine next summer, and that their Group opponents have already been finalised, I thought it
timely to decide who might be in the squad for the June kick off against France in
Donetsk.
Premier League Weekend Review: Easy games for Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd & Liverpool - originally
posted on Soccerlens.com
The big clubs of England play the minnows this weekend with odds largely in favor of the giants
formerly known as the 'top 4′. Here's a look at the betting situation heading into the Matchday
11 of the English Premier League.
Andre Johnson was regarded by many as the best fantasy football wide receiver heading into the
2011 NFL season. However, after a good start, Andre Johnson has been out injured with a hamstring
injury. He has missed the last three games for the Houston Texans.
The good news is that Andre Johnson was able to return to the practice field this week.
The Draw for the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament has been held and the USA will
be in Group B with Mexico, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.

The WNT Blog talked to U.S. midfielder Carli Lloyd and defender Rachel Buehler to get their
thoughts on the qualifying tournament and the USA's upcoming schedule:

With tonight's Champions League tie at Stamford Bridge against Genk, and with Chelsea hitting form
under AVB, there are obvious questions being asked of the players. One player in particular was
asked about winning the Champions League but stated that winning our domestic Premier League trophy
was more difficult.
Another day, a familiar feeling of foreboding.
Or seize the day, the promised land will be delivered.
Mathematically, Scotland still cling to the chance of winning a play off spot for the chance to win
a spot in Euro 2014.
Mathematically, I could probably measure the height of the trees outside my window using
trigonometry.

Second match of the Champions League and its the first home game at the Grove in the competition
proper. Olympiakos are the visitors tonight and we are looking for our first win in the group stage
after the draw at Dortmund in the opening round of fixtures. They are the reigning champions of
Super League Greece.
Arsene says there are no easy games. We have heard that often enough. But I am not sure the
manager is very concerned about this game. Despite his statements to the contrary, I think Wenger
uses his key players in big games as much as possible, not always but more often than not, even at
the risk of aggravating an injury.
The Game An early kick-off, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool to have
non-easy games on Sunday, this weekend could be the one in which our Premier League campaign
finally kicks off. As I said yesterday ...
Okay all Geoff and I are trying to ramp up our game day coverage so here goes the first edition

that pertain to the game just played, and only that game.

There were no easy games. It is a cliché that is often wheeled out during international
tournaments but for the very first time, it did actually apply to the Copa America. In past
editions, teams like Venezuela and Bolivia, when facing any of the continent's big guns, could
almost always be relied on squeal, drop to the floor, cover their faces and whimperingly accept a
savage beating.
British Eurosport's ubiquitous football commentator Tim Caple was doing his level best not to
say there were "no easy games in international football these days." Some clichés are oft-repeated
because of the element of truth therein, but there were certainly no "easy games" in the first
round of matches at this year's Women's World Cup in Germany.
It's tempting to think that today's match versus Toronto FC is one that the Seattle Sounders
should win. By most measures, Toronto is one of if not the worst teams in the league. They have the
worst goal differential at -10, have allowed the most goals, have the second worst shot
differential per 90, and their 5th-worst point total is inflated by the fact that they're tied for
the second-most games played this season (along with the Sounders).
The Arsenal midfielder Alex Song thinks that the answer to to the Gunners' problems this season is
simple; they have to stop assuming that there are easy games and hard games, and just play with the
same intensity whoever the opponent. The biggest problems started after losing the Carling Cup
Final against Birmingham, when every [.
This week, Birmingham City striker Kevin Phillips described his side's upcoming clash with
Tottenham Hotspur as being "a £90 million game" when he equated it to the value of the
Championship play-off final. A club coming up into the Premier League can expect significant
increases in revenue, and by the same token, a club being relegated from the country's top tier of
football can expect to lose out on a similar amount.

BOYDS, Md. - With an efficient attack and a defense that bent a bunch and broke just enough
times, the New England Revolution kept its hopes of making the U.S. Open Cup field of 40 alive.
Good morning to you from sunny Edinburgh. Actually, that's a lie. It's not sunny. But I am in
Edinburgh.
In football the names of great players live on. Passed down from father to son, grandparent to
grandchild, their on pitch exploits capture the imagination and memory. The goals, tackles, moments
of skill, the fights, the night they did something extra special for the Arsenal.
There have only been a handful of games this season which I thought were going to be easy. The
home game against WBA was one of those. Such experience can make one respect a sentence like –
there are no easy games in the Premiership – instead of ignoring it as a cliché. So Arsenal
travel to the Hawthorns in what is another potential banana skin against a side battling
relegation.
The draw for the quarter finals of the Champions League takes place on March the 18th and all
the talk is of Barcelona after the way they dispensed with Arsenal on Tuesday.
Both Harry Redknapp and William Gallas have come out and said that they want to avoid the
Spanish giants, but what of the other teams left in the hat?
