Who spends the longest in front of the mirror?
It's an age old tool we've been probing our favourite 'ballers with for years, mainly because
we can't be bothered to come up with any better questions.
As you know, over the past few weeks we've been training Chris Cohen of 'Talking Balls' to do
our bidding (so we ourselves can spend longer in front of the mirror) and we're pleased to say that
he did a magnificent job of getting the goods from Manchester United's Tom Cleverley and
Liverpool's Jordan Henderson, when he cornered them on Wednesday at the launch of EA Sports Grand
Slam Tennis 2 in London.

'Tis the season to flog computer games mercilessly, and EA have already dipped their bread
releasing a FIFA 12 Christmas viral that sees Gerard Pique, a pre-transplant Wayne Rooney, bonsai
fanatic Tim Cahill, a banjo-wielding Kaka and wee Jack Wilshere all acting their respective asses
off in the name of the shill.
It's getting closer to the big day, so it's no surprise that EA Sports have released a TV
commercial featuring Wayne Rooney and Gerard Pique to promote its FIFA 12 game in the build-up to
the shopping season (and Christmas, ...

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov 24, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) Messi To First Appear On Cover Of FIFA Street In
March 2012.
"The goal stands!" exclaims Martin Tyler as the crowd at the Santiago Bernabéu rains
exaltations of joy over the pitch. Cristiano Ronaldo shakes his head in frustration; the keeper
retrieves the ball, and sets up for a goal kick.
The above sequence has never happened in an actual soccer match, but it happens too often in EA
Sports's latest approximation of actual soccer, FIFA 12.
To celebrate the launch of FIFA 12, EA SPORTS are creating the world's longest football fan scarf
– and you can represent your club on the record-breaking scarf.

I hate to say it, but recently I haven't been able to keep up with the Vancouver Whitecaps. A
combination of other projects, studying, and laziness have contributed to a busy set of weeks which
have left me unable to post about the Caps. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that the blog
is still going, and also to update you on some of the things I've been working on, contributed to,
or find interesting and want to share with you.

The prediction engine from FIFA 12 by EA Sports this week serves up Manchester City against
Aston Villa.
Both teams will be eager to pick up points at Etihad Stadium. City will want to close the gap at
the top of the Premier League table, while Aston Villa fans are getting inpatient with Villa's
negative tactics despite recent points being picked up.
It's been a long time since I've posted, but I've got something pretty cool for any fans of the
FIFA videogame series. I was able to get a tour of EA Sports in Vancouver, Canada where the FIFA
series was developed. Not only that, but I got to talk to the lead gameplay producer of FIFA 12,
Aaron McHardy, about the new player-impact engine, precision dribbling, and tactical defending.

While most gamers the past week have been laser focused on FIFA 12, we thought it'd be a good time
to go back down memory lane to see how far EA Sports has come from the wonders of FIFA 07, ...

Why Atkinson must admit he got Rodwell's red card wrong (unless he has a TARDIS): David

I spoke to Jack Rodwell on Thursday to preview the derby. It was one of those telephone
interviews arranged through EA Sports and Rodwell rang me at the arranged time and we chatted for
over 20 minutes.

To be shocked at the crass commercialism in today's money-soaked English Premiership is to be
slightly naive. To develop a toothache upon hearing about how today's top flight clubs sell their
souls to fund their businesses or discover sneakier means of getting their hands deeper into your
wallets, however, is perfectly normal.
More Hope Solo. Going hermano e mano with Steve Nash in EA Sports Soccer 12 which is due in

Whether you're a fan of the FIFA series or if you prefer the Pro Evolution Soccer games, Tuesday
marks the end of a long wait.
For the first time ever, both FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer video games are set to drop the
latest installments of their respective video games for the Playstation 3 and Xbox360 on the same
day.
EA Sports appears to finally be taking MLS seriously, and teams like the Philadelphia Union have
benefited from the additional attention to detail that is seen in FIFA '12.
A Youtube user by the name of GetDougdOn has posted a video of nearly every league and the teams
within those leagues.

recognising that recent FIFA installments often felt more like expansion packs than full games, EA
Sports promised revolution not evolution with this season's update.

With the 30th September release date crowning on the horizon, the FIFA 12 Hype Machine is ramped
all the way up to eleven at the moment and the EA virals are coming thick and fast the lastest
seeing Hope Solo squaring off against Steve 'kinda like a gorilla and a leopard' Nash in a duel to
the death game of pixel-based football.
Stat attack Fernando Torres is absolutely spot on and also talking absolute gibberish about his

Spaniard had been quoted as saying: "Chelsea is, between the English teams, maybe the least

EA Sports are currently drip-dripping various virals and teasers to swell the hype ahead of FIFA
12′s official release on 30th September and the latest is centred around the new, fluid gameplay
engine which is so realistic that it apparently even allows you to 'De Jong' the living snot out of
your opponents (0:25 mark) with two-footed, waist-high scissor tackles.
