Middlesbrough romped to a 5-0 victory over Scottish Second Division side Dumbarton with England
under-21 winger Adam Johnson scoring the pick of the goals. The only downside of an otherwise fine
run out for the Boro team was a hip injury to Frenchman Didier Digard, hopefully not too bad of an
injury as we could really do with him staying injury free for a while!

Accies both fail to score and St Mirren get a right tanking. New boys St Johnstone do us proud

Dumbarton's Third Division title this season means they become the first team in Scotland to
have won league titles at all four professional league levels.
This also keeps alive the sequence of 15 different winners of the Third Division, since it's
inception 15 seasons ago in 1994/95.
9 teams have won multiple promotions to the Second Division, but strangely no team has won the
division twice - Forfar Athletic have won promotion three times - bizarrely winning promotion in
three different positions (1st, 2nd and 3rd).

Dumbarton being the other team still in existence, all 5 others are gone.
