On this week's Gadsby's England roundup, the utter absurdity of transfer deadline day, Wenger
says stop worrying about Wilshere for the Euros, Nathan Dyer tells Capello to make his England
dreams come true, and could Oxlade-Chamberlain do a Rooney Euro 2004, or are we overdoing it
again?
Once the January transfer window is over, Alan Pardew and the Newcastle Board will
concentrate on getting some of our players signed up to new contracts. Danny Simpson dreams of
winning the FA Cup One of those players is former Manchester United full-back Danny Simpson,
whose contract runs out in 18 months time, and he seems keen to stay on Tyneside.
Great production value. Strong story line. If this doesn't get you pumped about an event you
normally might not get pumped about then check your pulse.
But seriously, the SuperDraft, silly name and all, is where dreams start for a lot of players in
our domestic league. Each one has the chance to make American soccer even greater.

Chelsea's erratic first half of the 2011/12 campaign may have all but ended their title dreams,
but the news that Ghanaian midfield supremo Michael Essien is back in action will surely give AVB
and his army of Blues' fans a right old boost.
Hi guys... I'm pretty stoked...
Let's take a week or so to collate questions for Raf. I will most certainly have a number of
questions ( about tactics at Oranje AND Spurs, about his past, his dreams, life in London, what it
was like at Real Madrid, etc).

FC Twente frontman Luuk de Jong has reiterated his desire to play in the Premiership, alerting a
host of clubs, including both Liverpool and Tottenham, who are reportedly interested in him.
21 year-old de Jong's contract with his current employers runs out in June of 2014, meaning that
any prospective suitors would have to stump up a sum of around €10 million in order to prise him
away from Enschede.
Alex Ferguson's health records obtained by News of the World, inquiry told | Media | The

Once in a while, a news article appears that makes you stop for a minute and think to yourself,
what? Are you kidding me?
Today, on Twitter, it came to my attention that during The Leveson Inquiry, certain details
regarding medical records of a previously unknown Premiership manager had been acquired and used to
try to blackmail the mentioned manager into co-operating with revealing relevant team news to The
News of The World newspaper, an English Sunday rag that recently got shut down for all kinds of
skullduggery and dishonest business practice.
Well, we don't have the Teacher's Pension Plan to kickaround anymore. The big bad mediagiants, Bell
and Rogers have married and bought MLSE. Now what does this meanfor our little TFC? I am hoping for
either benign neglect or selling off the team, but not holding my breath for either. Bizarre
billionaires are rare in Canada.

In football, there are 3 kinds of players; the one's who are talented and get recognised and
rewarded for their performances, the one's who are not that talented and are lucky most of the time
and get recognised for their performances and the one's who are talented and never get recognised
or rewarded at all.

Saturday sees Manchester United take on Newcastle United at the world renowned, historically named,

hosts the match at the traditional but somewhat unfamiliar time of 3pm and it could trigger a shift
in the Premier League Betting odds.
This is Bosuilstadion in Belgium, home to Royal Antwerp Football Club. It was once a grand home
of European football, with a capacity close to 60,000 and the venue for West Germany's 2-1 win over
Belgium in the 1972 European Championship semi-final. It also hosted dozens of eagerly-anticipated
friendlies between the Netherlands and Belgium.

So, Ibrahimovic wrote a book in which he cries about how mean Mr. Pep bullied his existence and
shattered his dreams. Because, you know, we can't expect him to be over it over a year later. Well
I'm here to pick his whining apart quote by quote... starting from where he begins by pointing

Why I don't want foreign owners coming here and killing football's dreams in exchange
for a quick buck
Football is all about striving to realise your dreams. It doesn't matter if you support
Manchester United at the top of the Premier League or the Dog and Duck FC in the local league.
Ending promotion would kill the dreams of millions
Just a normal Thursday. Woke up in a London hotel, went to Radio One, sat in KITT, the Knight
Rider car, went training with the lovely Ola Jordan, then met the Tampa Bay cheerleaders. Where did
it all go wrong? ** Somewhere in football there is a department of stupid ideas, where men in suits
are paid fortunes to think up rubbish.

The first of the mid-week matches from week 32 recapped here by Pedro Gomes. This first match
between Portland and DC held playoff implications for both.
DC United 1, Portland Timbers 1
The Portland Timbers traveled to RFK stadium to face the DC United in what felt like a must-win
match for both sides, however technically Portland could have kept play-off hopes alive with only a
draw.
Everton's Chief Executive Officer Robert Elstone has slammed UEFA's "Financial Fair Play" rules,
pointing out that it only serves the establishments of Europe's biggest clubs.
Despite seeing his own side struggle to compete financially, Elstone believes that owners should
be able to invest how they want, giving smaller clubs the opportunity to compete with the

There's nothing quite as satisfying as watching a player get busted flopping in GIF form. In my
dreams I see an entire page of such GIFS playing on a loop. These GIFS works like a poll, the most
blatant flop at the top then downward etc. Certain flops in my table would be relegated to lower
leagues, etc, while new flops work their way upward like upstart young clubs.

For those who don't know Roger Espinoza's story well, they may just know him as the Sporting
Kansas City midfielder who also plays for the Honduran national team.
While Espinoza does play for Honduras, his career is very much rooted in the American dream, as
a fateful move from Honduras to the United States when he was just 11 changed his life forever and
has helped him eventually fulfill many of his biggest dreams.
Its been 13 long months with plenty of goals, twists-and-turns, boos, surprises, rants as well as

There have been a fair few strikers that have come to Chelsea and have struggled to find their form
for one reason or another. Robert Fleck, Chris Sutton, Pierluigi Casiraghi and Mateja Kezman. All
outstanding strikers in football and like I say for one reason or another struggled to make an
impact at the club.
As modern folk, we live our lives in the world of design. The clothing, the car, the furniture, the
food and the wine, the house, the suburb, the road, the mall, the way the light falls across your
face as I take your picture...I know that we can still go for a walk in the woods and shake it all
away, for a while.

Kenny Dalglish has warned the likes of Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher, that no player will

club, fully understands the impact that Gerrard and Carragher have had over the years, but insists
that won't be enough to guarantee them a starting place.
