The Colorado Rapids are more than a staunch defense, at least for one night.

Kevin Doyle started the scoring early, but Cubo Torres managed to sneak one in to level the score before half time. Marlon Hairston came alive in the second half and buried a couple easy goals as theRapids saw a rare burst of attacking form.

Former Real Boston Rams striker Dominique Badji made his debut goal count as itsnapped a season-opening 361-minute scoreless streak for the Colorado Rapids in Friday's 4-0 win over FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium.

Inside of two minutes, Badji one-timed a cross from Dillon Powers on right to give the Rapids a lead they continued to build as the game progressed.

Former Real Boston Rams forward Dominique Badji signed a contract with the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday following a successful preseason trial.

Badji, 22, was drafted by the Rapids in the fourth round (67th overall) of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. He scored twice for the squad during the preseason, and assisted on Colorado's opening goal against the Revolution on Feb.

Providence College forward Fabio Machado shined on MatchDay #3 of the MLS Combine by scoring and assisting in a 5-1 win for Team adiZero over Team Predator on Tuesday.

Machado assisted on Cameron Iwasa's 60th minute goal, then scored one of his own in the 75th minute. The Revolution Academy product went 49 minutes after spelling fellow former Real Boston Ram Dominique Badji in the 41st minute.

Providence College products Keasel Broome and Markus Nagelstad, as well as Boston University's Dominique Badji, were selected during the final two rounds of the MLSSuperDraft, which was held via conference call on Tuesday.

Broome heard his name called by theSan Jose Earthquakesin the third round (45th overall), while Nagelstad was taken by New York City FC in the fourth round (64th overall).
