It may just be another vicious rumour doing the rounds, however there are a lot or murmurings that a handful of Premiership teams are interested in signing Carlos Puyol from Barcelona.

MCFC got themselves involved in a mud-slinging battle with football fans when they paid thousands of pounds in an attempt to wind us reds up. For me, it's totally bizarre that a football club would lower themselves to such petty behaviour.
