It's a pretty futile task to find any headlines other than those pertaining to the question of
the England manager's job this morning but is it inevitable that Harry Redknapp is about to step
into Fabio Capello's expensive Italian shoes?
Virtually every newspaper and sports website is covering this and there are so many different
claims as to what, if anything, has already been decided.
With the transfer window about to open plenty of gossip will be doing the rounds. As ever I will
only post news that appears in other media.
The biggest news is of course Noh Alam Shah becoming a free agent after leaving Arema IPL. Tampines
Rovers have said they will take him back in the blink of an eye; it's no secret NAS and the
chairman of the Stags are very close.
Is Jack the lad preparing for his Arsenal comeback sooner than we thought? I am only asking as
the wonder that is Wilshere seems to be in the mood to play again and we know this because he has a
new pair of boots made by Nike especially for his return from injury.
Our very own wonderkid, 20, has had the boot stitched with the name of his new son on it and
surely this can only mean he is ready to get back in action (Lord knows we desperately need him)
any time soon?
Rumour doing the rounds that this is the new Arsenal away kit for next season. Hope not. Clearly
the Nike designers have given a nod to the blackcurrent kit we wore for a season at Highbury a few
years back.
I prefer good old yellow and blue but these days kits are all about revenue and this could be
our new away top, with the stripes used for marketing purposes and to allow a shirt to double up as
a leisure top.
Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has issued a come get me plea to Italian champions AC
Milan. With time running out in the transfer window, the Argentine international is keen on getting
his career back on track.
Speaking to Argentinean news agencies, Carlos maintained that he was flattered to be linked with
a move to PSG but stated that Milan was the club for him.

We've been slow to post on the pics doing the rounds of Irina Shayk's Autumn/Winter 2012
campaign for Replay Jeans. Reason being we're conflicted.
Yes, Irina's topless. We can obviously see that. But she's also wearing fingerless
gloves in various colours and textures.
Newcastle United pulled off a coup today in the signing of Senegalese striker Papisse Demba
Cisse. The former Freiburg striker has nine goals from 15 appearances so far this season, and
finished last season as one of the top goalscorers in the Bundesliga with 22 goals to his name.
The striker signs on a 5 and-a-half year deal, and the transfer fee is thought to be in the
region of £7.
Reports doing the rounds suggest that Liverpool are in the market looking to buy a striker to
bloster their attack. The Reds have been linked with Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe who Liverpool
manager Kenny Dalglish is willing to offer £10 million to acquire.
However a tug of war is emerging between Tottenham and Defoe with Redknapp set on keeping him at
White Hart Lane while Defoe is bent on leaving after already telling his agent that he wants to
move in this transfer window.
Together with Neymar, Santos midfield wizard Paulo Henrique Ganso is another of Brazil's
hottest prospects who is continually been linked with a move to Europe with Italian giants Inter
and Milan thought to be seriously eying his services.
However, there seems to be a new entrant in the race to acquire Ganso's signature.
Rumors are doing the rounds today both in papers and online that Liverpool are looking to
offload striker Andy Carroll, just one year after he was signed for a club record of £35million.
Personally I think this is just talk to feed the rumor mill.
Sure he hasn't lived up to his over inflated deadline day transfer just yet, but people need to
remember he is still only 23 and if it wasn't for a few great saves or the cross bar being a couple
of inches higher he would have an extra 3 or 4 goals this season and things wouldn't look all that
bad considering the minutes he has actually played.
Interesting rumour doing the rounds today, don't think it'll ever happen but I'm pretty sure
it'd solve a lot of the problems in the Man United midfield if it was to come true Frank Lampard is
apparently wanted by Man United. Lampard is obviously unhappy with his current situation at
Chelsea, he's not featuring in all of their games under Villas-Boas and with United's midfield
looking very weak, Lampard could be a great signing.

This lo-res candid photo is doing the rounds today after being released into the wild by
Barcelona's official club photographer, one Miguel Ruiz.
It shows a distraught Lionel Messi, alongside the void Andres Iniesta and the thoroughly
knackered Javier Mascherano, struggling to stave off the waterworks after Barca's last-minute 1-0
defeat at the hands of Real Madrid in last year's Copa Del Rey final (e.
The transfer window is well and truly open, and with Newcastle United having taken just 5 points
from the last 24, there are many areas of the squad which needs strengthening.
First up doing the rumours on Twitter is Finnish footballer Thomas Hesakmi Hesakmi appears to be
a very raw talent and it could be likely that Newcastle have unearthed another diamond (along the
lines of Mehdi Abeid).
Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov could leave the Premier League champions in January
for his former side Bayer Leverkusen if reports doing the rounds are anything to go by.
Berbatov spent 6 years with Leverkusen before joining Tottenham in May 2006 where his impeccable
form saw him score 26 goals in 70 appearances before United signed him 2 years later.
Santos are expecting a tough battle for their teen sensation Neymar when he prepare to leaves
the club in 2014. The Campeonato Paulista player of the year 2011 has consistently been linked with
a move to Spain with Barcelona now emerging as his most probable destination.
In fact, reports doing the rounds suggest that the Catalan giants had already struck a
preliminary agreement worth 10 million Euros to sign the star earlier than 2014.
Ac Milan's Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic finds himself on the wrong side of the law for the
umpteenth time as he escaped a ban from league matches after a federal prosecutor decided not to
present video footage as evidence against his charge of blasphemy.
Now Ibrahimovic is a good player, there is no denying his abilities, however, his ego is just
to big.
Reports doing the rounds suggesting that Out of Contract football star David Beckham has signed
for French side Paris Saint Germain are false this is according to his spokesperson.
Beckham's contract with the LA Galaxy comes to an end later this month and it was widely
believed that he would join PSG after talks with English Premier League Club Tottenham broke
down.
As Arsenal prepare to take on Man City in a thrilling encounter at the Etihad Stadium, rumours
doing the rounds suggest that the club could re-sign legendary striker Thierry Henry on loan in
January.
However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has remain silent on the issue drawing more speculation
that Henry could indeed be on his way back to the Emirates.
It's about that time again when clubs begin digging into their pockets to bolster their squads
for the Last half of the season. The most famous transfer deal making headlines everyday without a
doubt has to be of want away Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
It seems like with every passing day, a new twist emerges rendering the progress made
futile.
Lyon who were facing elimination from this year's Champions League unless the made up a goal
difference of seven and Ajax were beaten by Real Madrid which they did as they beat 10 man Dinamo
Zagreb 7-1 ,while Ajax were beaten 3-0 in Holland by Real Madrid are under investigation in a
fixing storm.
The Writing is on the wall for Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas. Win tomorrow's match against
Valencia and hang on as Chelsea coach for a couple more weeks. Lose, and either face the sack or
quit.
Tomorrow's match at Stamford Bridge will be crucial in all aspects for he Blues as the fate of
their entire season hangs on the result of the match.
Wigan away tomorrow and a 7am start from Sussex. The full horror of the 3-2 defeat a couple of
seasons back still haunts me but we must travel with confidence although they did win last week so
will be about as buoyant aas they could be when the face us. Great.
We managed a 2-2 draw last term and AW has had his say ahead of the Premier League encounter at
the DW/JJB/ASBO Stadium and he has reflected on recent results going ginto tomorrow's game.

This has apparently been doing the rounds for a few days now so is therefore ancient in internet
years, but better late than never, eh?
What you're looking at is a seismic read-out of the area around the San Paolo Stadium in Naples
for the duration of the Napoli's 2-1 victory over Man City in the Champions League last week.
Cool T? Surely not
Arsenal failed to qualify for the semi finals of the Carling Cup after a 1-0 defeat at home to
the moneybags of the Premier League. $amir Na$ri was jeered and booed throughout. Just after 5
minutes before the whole stadium was standing because "stand up if you hate Na$ri" was the song
doing the rounds.
After Roberto Mancini made it clear that Argentine striker Carlos Tevez would never play for
City as long as he was still the coach, the 27 year old has surprisingly emerged as a key transfer
target for Italian giants AC Milan.
Tevez however, will not be sold cheap and if the unconfirmed rumours doing the rounds are to
be believed, then Milan will have to part with £25 million to bring the striker to the San
Siro.
Open this morning's papers, or scour them on line, and you'll find a hotpotch of hullabaloo
pertaining to the Arsenal this morning. So, let's get to it then...
The Mail has a yarn claiming that we are ready to sign Brum's England Under-21 keeper Jack
Butland, currently on loan at Cheltenham.
Just days after Neymar put pen to paper and signed a new improved contract that will see him
stay with Brazilian club Santos until 2014, club President Luis Alvaro Ribiero has spoken out on
Spanish club Real Madrid's aim to sign the teen sensation.
Ribiero who did not have any kind words for the European power house slammed the club's
behaviour labeling it lamentable and arrogant.
Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on Cologne's Lukas Podolski. That's the story being reported in
German paper Bild at any rate. They claim Arsenal scouts have been to watch the winger, 26, and
will make a move in the January transfer window.
Another yarn doing the rounds is that Wenger will make a bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder
Esteban Granero.
Rumours doing the rounds that AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano suffered a stroke on Saturday
after Milan's 3-2 win over AS Roma in Rome have been rubbished by the club.
According to Italian news agency Ansa a medical examination carried out on the 29 year
old diagnosed him as having had a stroke although the extent of the damage has not been
identified.
Rumours are once again doing the rounds about Liverpool interest in Newcastle United's captain.
Whether there's and truth in those rumours remain to be seen but should we even consider letting
our captain go? The press has decided to regurgitate the story about Liverpool's alleged intent to
try and lure Fabricio Coloccini to Anfield in [.

An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman walk into a bar. The Welshman wasn't there because he
was still in New Zealand. That's the joke currently doing the rounds in Wales, a country where
rugby is treated like a religion – very few people turn up on a Sunday.
Arsene Wenger is this morning reported to be keeping tabs on Udinese's Romanian winger Gabriel
Torje.
A report in the Mirror claims that the 21-year-old being called the "Romanian Messi" says Wenger
has been impressed with his progress at Udinese. Torje moved to the Italian side from Dynamo
Bucharest.
Why Fabio would have done Spurs and England a favour by going to Anzhi
Okay, cards on the table time. I got quite excited on Monday night at the thought of Harry

had been offered the manager's job at Anzhi Mackachkala, that Russian outfit where they have more
money than they know what to do with.

Luca Modric is set to become Tottenham's highest earning player if he puts pen to paper in a new
and improved contract that will see him stay at White Hart Lane until 2017.
Word doing the rounds claim that Tottenham are willing to make the Croat an offer he simply
cannot refuse. According to Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, the club opened talks with Modric two
weeks ago to try and entice the 26 year old to remain at White Hart Lane.
After 4 years with L A Galaxy, David Beckham's career in the MLS will be coming to an end at
the end of this season that is assuming that the Los Angeles based outfit does not offer him a new
contract.
Beckham is in his final year of his multi million dollar contract with Galaxy and this has led
to a scramble for his signature among Europe's elite clubs with the likes of PSG, Tottenham and
Queen's Park Rangers all in the race to sign him.
Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny reckons we are still the pride of North London even though we
lost to that lot on Sunday.
Szczesny told the Mirror: "You can't say the balance of power has shifted after just a couple of
months. We've had a poor start to the season but you can't say they're in the ascendancy after just
one game.
