things, that Brazil were a better side than Spain and were more likely favourites for the crown in
South Africa. In justifying this view, he said that Brazil were physically stronger, and that they

Apologies about the lack of posting recently. I've slipped into an euphoria-induced coma at the
sight of Tom Huddlestone and Peter Crouch both coming on for England in Doha on Saturday. The
prognosis? I'll be okay in the long run but Jermaine Jenas definitely won't go to the World
Cup.
I promise normal service will be resumed shortly, once the deluge of Uni work is eased a little
bit.

There is proof at last that Fabio Capello is capable of compromise. The England manager has
listened to Liverpool's plea that Steven Gerrard should not be involved in Saturday's friendly with
Brazil in Doha. There is a chance, however, that the midfielder will play a part in his club's game
against Birmingham City despite his recent adductor muscle injury.

Sir Alex Ferguson has always enjoyed a good moan. Especially when it comes to England
friendlies. So it wasn't a huge surprise to hear him complain about England's upcoming game vs
Brazil in Doha, Qatar on November 14th.
Ferguson doesn't mention the Brazil game specifcially. But he may as well have.

Tickets to matches are the responsibility of the host nation. When we played in
Qatar last year the tickets were not on sale until a few days before the match, and only available

Seems to me that the Middle East is the future of football. Man City's new Abu Dhabi based owners
now making some very sensible noises - less about buying C-Ron and more about faith in Mark Hughes
and long term investment in the youth academy - which is good news for everyone concerned
(including Man [.
