The UEFA Europa League continued on Thursday, November 5, 2009 with 16 group stage matches. A few teams struggled including Celtic who have only 2 points in the group stage. Roma defeated Fulham in one of the other matches and is now in good position to advance to the knockout stage. Overall, there are two matches left with the top two from each group advancing.

In case you missed it, the match between Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb and Cibalia featured the undisputed miss of the season. Dinamo striker Ilija Sivonjić found himself inches (literally) from the Cibalia goal with the ball right at his feet, but his miscue astonished all onlookers.
