The oh-silly-you-you-caught-me look works here, but Jozo Gaspar did lose his job coaching in Croatia as a result, considering he took the plastic from the wallet of one of his own players.

To be honest, you don't look well chief

Former Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Josip "Jozo" Gaspar has been sacked as manager of NK Precko Zagreb after reportedly stealing a player's credit card and using it to buy not one, not two, but 36 litres of Jagermeister.

Josip 'Jozo' Gašpar played for Dinamo Zagreb for most of the 1990s, and was most recently the coach of Croatian lower league side NK Prečko Zagreb. The former midfielder, however, was relieved of his managerial duties at the beginning of April due to an incident in which he apparently stole a player's credit card and used it to buy an unfathomable amount of alcohol.

Last night's fixture between Dinamo Zagreb and Dynamo Kiev set the record for the lowest ever attendance (3,563) at a Champions League game at least so we're told and it's not particularly difficult to see why...

Ironically, it was actually almost impossible to see anything at all!

Alen Halilovic, who made his Champions League debut for Dinamo Zagreb last night despite being little more than a mop-topped foetus.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has already identified three targets as he seeks to continue his revolution at Anfield, reports this morning suggest.
The Dail Mail suggest that the Merseyside club have identified three midfielders in Malaga's Isco, Ander Herrera of Athletic Bilbao and Marcelo Brozovic of Dinamo Zagreb as key targets as the northern Irish manager seeks to continue his rebuilding job at Anfield, once funds become available.

The Champions League group matches are often tepid affairs, with few surprises and too many small teams that have no chance of winning a game. But that this not the case this week as we have two massive games; Real Madrid v Manchester City and Chelsea v Juventus.

Here is a look at the matchday one games this week.

EPL champions Manchester City face the toughest � group draw for the second season in a row. Group D contains 4 domestic league champions, something of a rarity in the modern incarnation of this tournament. The transfer market was quite busy yesterday and so we are going to sort through those comings and goings before doing our group-by-group previews.

Andres Iniesta wins UEFA Palyer of Year

Andres Iniesta won UEFA's top Award in a night when FC Barcelona was drawn to play Benifica, Spartak Moscow and Celtic in Group G of this 2012-13 UEFA Champions League.

The UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw has been released with Group D featuring Manchester City, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Ajax Amsterdam.

It's clearly the strongest group with each team having a decent chance to make it to the knockout stage. Manchester United probably have the easiest road of the top teams while Barcelona, Chelsea, Barcelona, AC Milan, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich are all favorites to win their respective groups.

With his side in transit en route to their Croatiancup match against NK Vrsar, it would appear that Dinamo Zagreb defender Domagoj Vida assumed the team coach would be as good a place as any for a refreshing brewski and cracked open a cold one a spectacularly poorly-timed beer that has since proven to be the most expensive suds he'll ever sup.

The UEFA Champion's League draw went down today.... and let's just say that PSG, Barcelona and United made out like bandits.

Madrid, Man City and Dortmund .... not to mention Ajax. Yeah, they'll be battling each other in the next round. Better have plenty of team depth.
