Now don't get me wrong here, I am referring to his style of management. Let me elaborate for you.
AVB has given an honest and frank interview to UEFA's
The Technician and has opened up about
some problems he is faced with here as Chelsea's manager and in his short career in Portugal.
In the interview, he explains some dilemma's he is faced with but also refers to HIS management
style and reveals that because of his age and playing experience, he could never be a Manager
classed as a Dictator.
The name of West Ham keeper Rob Green has been mentioned once again in connection with a move to
Spurs and there will be a large section of Tottenham fans who are hoping to pin this one down to
lazy journalism.
Green, who is now 32, is out of contract at the end of the season and reports that the Hammers
have postponed contract talks until the summer seem to have sparked off these rumours.
Today's result says a lot to me about where this team is right now. There's not enough depth, and
there's not enough finishing. Not only is the league race way out of reach, but we have to stop and
wonder about the likelihood of overtaking Spurs, and also finishing 4th. Hopefully this one will
motivate Wenger to do some real spending in January, although I'm still not holding my breath.
Kenny Dalglish delighted with Liverpool's three goals from few chances
• Manager applauds Steven Gerrard's form against Newcastle • Dalglish denies return of Luis
Suárez presents a dilemma Kenny Dalglish denied he will have a selection problem for Liverpool's
next game, against Manchester City on Tuesday, with Luis Suárez available again after suspension,
though he did concede it was ironic to score three times against Newcastle in a game where very few
chances were created.
Unwatchable college Bowl games are a problem that can only be solved with a tournament that
includes them. A plus-one game doesn't address the deep-rooted situation that no one seems to be
talking about.
Tonight Chelsea have a chance to get another important three points as we take on Wigan at the DW.
Our recent run has been impressive beating the likes of Newcastle and Manchester City in the
Premier League but it's games like tomorrow that Chelsea have to ensure they approach the same way.
Our good run will all come to nothing if we do not perform tomorrow.
Borussia Dortmund and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski is back in the frame again with Liverpool
his most likely destination. Liverpool have been linked with many strikers with the transfer period
looming on the horizon as Dalglish looks to conquer his attacking headaches.
Liverpool haven't been clinical enough in front of goal this campaign notching up 18 goals in 15
Premier League games.
PC or Mac, Jose or Pep, Marozsan or Cramer, Champions League or Scudetto, marmite or not
marmite. All these great multiple choice just-tick-either-box-please questions that Western
civilization has devised in a futile attempt to keep itself sane pale in comparison to the greatest
dilemma of all; Alessandro Matri or Mario Balotelli.
Other than the games played in preseason, this certainly shapes up to be the least important outing
of the season. We're heading to Greece to take on Olympiakos in the final match of the group stages
of the Champions League. But fortunately for us, we already have first place wrapped up, so there's
no need to wear out our main players in this one.
Our first-ever fantasy manager's dilemma was back in October: It was a high profile dilemma that
pitted transferring in either Gerrard or VDV, and after we chose VDV, he went on to score 2 goals
and pick up the maximum 3 ... Continue reading →
Kenny's fitness dilemma
Kenny Dalglish today revealed he will make late fitness calls on several members of his squad
before our clash with Chelsea on Tuesday after once again labelling the timing of the contest
'irresponsible'.

Red is an incredibly Spanish colour to wear, and Madrid chose to don
it against Valencia at the Mestalla last night (one of the steepest stadium steps
to climb, if you're wearing heels - stop rolling your eyes, hombres!) In Spain, you'd
better be wearing red.
LA Galaxy are ready to make an effort to sign Liverpool's Dutch International Dirk Kuyt with a view
to signing the player in January but loaning him back to Liverpool for three months.
Kuyt's time at Liverpool is coming to and end and it was always thought that he would return to his
native Holland, however the speculation is that it is LA Galaxy that he is destined for.
Ok, here we go again!
We'll start this morning with some team news ahead of the Norwich game and there's bad news for
two young full backs. Kieran Gibbs has a hernia and Arsene explains:
He looks like he will be out for between four and five weeks. At first he had an abdominal
strain, certainly caused by the fact that he had a hernia already.
Back on Friday, the FA confirmed that they have charged AVB for his comments made after our defeat
at Loftus Road against QPR. The statement from the FA said:
Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has been charged with improper conduct by The FA,
following media comments he made about the match official after his side's match at Queens Park
Rangers on 23 October 2011.

Puma held a bit of a bash at the Design Museum in London last night to formally unveil their
latest nine creations for next January's African Cup of Nations there were originally supposed to
be ten on display, though Algeria's kit was omitted after they failed to qualify for the
competition.
Uh Oh... MLS gauging interest in Baltimore for possible DC United move?
Some bad news for our friends back East as it looks like things are starting to get a little
more serious about that whole D.C. United - Baltimore United fiasco.
Apparently MLS sent soccer fans located around DC and Baltimore a survey to gauge their interest
in such a move, a move that I wholeheartedly disagree with.
After that emphatic win away at Chelsea,we are oozing confidence at the moment. As Theo rightfuly
said, I believe we can beat any team if we continue this recent run of form. With games against
West Brom and Fulham coming up, I dont see it ending anytime soon. The game against Chelsea also
saw the [.

Kenny Dalglish is delighted to have Glen Johnson back in his plans, with the full-back having made
his Premier League return on Saturday.
With just nine minutes of top flight action under his belt prior to the weekend, Johnson came
through a 90-minute outing against Norwich unscathed.
The England international has handed Dalglish something of a selection dilemma at right-back, with
Martin Kelly having shone in his absence, but the Scot is delighted to have such strength in depth.
JimmyG2 takes his message to the streets. And so once more gentle readers we come to the age old
dilemma: would we rather outplay the opposition as we did frequently last season and yet fail to
take our chances and draw or even lose the game? Or would you rather we played poorly and won? We
are unbeaten in ten in all games and won 5 of the last six in the Premiership.
Hello there, time for a quick Saturday round-up for you.
Arsene's press conference took place yesterday and there was plenty to talk about with RVP,
Mertesacker, right backs and even the Olympics on the agenda. We'll start with Robin though and
there's the double-sided thing of wanting to rest a player who is playing most of our games, but
the fact that said player is scoring most of our goals.
Arsene Wenger may rest Robin van Persie for the Premier League clash at the Emirates against
Stoke tomorrow.
The Daily Mail this morning claims that even if AW decides to play the skipper it is only a
matter of time before he is benched. The papwewr reports that Van Persie is in the midst of an
amazing goal-scoring streak after hitting 27 goals in 35 games.

Stick or Twist: Kenny's Dilemma...
So everyone's fit. Which way will Kenny turn? It's not as impossible as picking a Rafa selection
but here goes... Pepe will distribute like Beckenbauer from the back. Ahem. Right back is a big,
big call. Dalglish considers his best right full to be Glen Johnson but Martin Kelly is the man in
possession and has done little wrong.
So Inter-lull is a fun time isn't it? No Arsenal matches to moan about, no news from Arsenal
from two weeks for fans world-wide to digest and and create stories of illusion around, and the
long-awaited injury list to pile up even more. It's a great time to shut off from Arsenal and spend
time with family, as we all love to do right?
It's all about VDV this morning with several quotes appearing concerning the Dutchman's
displeasure at being played out of position and at being substituted in Sunday's win over
Arsenal.
Last week, Spurs' manager Harry Redknapp claimed that Rafa sometimes asked to come off due to an
on-going issue with his hamstrings but that may not be how the player sees it.
Carlos Tevez's new home
The dust has barely settled but Carlos Tevez is already getting offers. This one from Limavady
United in the second division of the Northern Ireland league.
The raison d'etre for this one goes something like this, " We are sure you will appreciate our
efforts to keep Tevez from getting fat prior to his sale.
This will be a battle between teams placed 17th and 19th with the two leakiest defences in the
League. Bolton have shipped just one less goal than Arsenal's 14. Neither team is on a particularly
good run either and both have a Cup result to blame, at least partially. Arsenal have been
unrecognizable since the Carling Cup loss while Bolton haven't been able to recover from the 5-0
hammering they got from Stoke in the FA Cup semi-final.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is facing what could be his biggest selection dilemma of the season
so far with the return to fitness of William Gallas.
With Ledley King's return, Tottenham have kept two clean sheets at the back as our club captain
forged a partnership with Younes Kaboul and some fans are already saying that the absence of
Michael Dawson has led to what they believe to be our first choice pairing at the back.
With the big match at Old Trafford this weekend, Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has a selection
dilemma ahead of tonight's Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen. Does he rest some of
his big names so that they will be fresh for the United game?
The answer appears to be yes as indications are that AVB will rest Lampard, Terry and Anelka
tonight to keep them fresh for the weekend.
Carlos Tevez: I went into rehab for depression and eating binge Sport People.co.uk.
Carlos Tevez just can't seem to keep himself out of the media these days and news of his
"binge eating" dilemma is just one more addition to the chaos surrounding his life at the
moment.
No longer a first choice at The Etihad Stadium, the Argentine striker is desperate to gain
favor with manager Roberto Mancini, with whom he has had a running battle of disagreements with
since the Italian took the managers job.
England manager Fabio Capello has once again emphasized that no one is guaranteed a spot in his
starting line-up but has revealed that at the moment, his selection dilemma lies particularly in
the midfield position following the emergence of Tottenham Hotspur new boy Scott Parker.
The superstar pairing of Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and Chelsea's Frank Lampard has always been
criticized for a lack of rhythm but with the former out of contention due to injury, Capello has
revealed that the pressure is mounting on the latter to fight for his place.
Closing in on a season defining fortnight, I have several questions about our beloved Naranja. We
discussed this ad naseum over lunch today. The answers, of course, will mean the difference between
attending the playoffs possibly for the last time at Robertson Stadium and watching the playoffs
from the depths of my couch (those that are actually broadcast on noncable TV).

Absolutely nothing?
Instead of picking on Arsenal I'll pick on their North London rivals and Peter Crouch in
particular after his performance last Sunday.
I've been struggling to figure out why he was selected for the game against City and his display
left me even more confused.
