Liverpool midfield legend Dietmar Hamann is a huge fan of summer signing Jordan Henderson, and his
enthusiasm for the player is so great that he has total belief that the youngster will make it into
the full England squad for Euro 2012.
Henderson has often been played out of position on the right this season but Hamann is confident
it's only temporary
"I think he [Henderson] is one of the brightest English prospects, and Long-term, he probably will
be a central midfielder for Liverpool".
Liverpool today announced they are backing the 2011 Soccer Prince - the X-Factor-style television
program which aims to unearth football's next biggest star.
The Reds are the only Barclays Premier League team to support the initiative and are offering a
one-year development program under their guidance to the winner.
Former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso has told how he feels the Spanish national side benefited
from players moving to play in the Premier League, including himself.
Alonso moved to Anfield in 2004 and spent five years at the club under Rafa Benitez. He is still
held in high regard by Liverpool supporters and always speaks affectionately of his time at the
club, where he won the Champions League in 2005.
Dietmar Hamann quits Stockport
Former Liverpool and Manchester City midfielder Dietmar Hamann has resigned as manager of Blue
Square Premier outfit Stockport. Hamann took over at Edgeley Park in the summer.

Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has resigned as the manager of Stockport County after
just 4 months in charge.
Hamann, who only recently spoke on LFC TV about how well things were going at Edgeley Park, made
the following statement after his resignation:
"Following a meeting this morning between Lord Snape and myself I have tendered my resignation as
manager of Stockport County.
