World's worst room service Corinthians are keeping their biggest star (literally) under house
arrest in a bid to halt the seemingly unstoppable expansion of his waistline. Former Inter Milan
star Adriano is being kept under lock and key at a hotel after the club decided to show tough love

The People quietly apologises to Andy Carroll and LFC
EVEN with the best of intentions people can make mistakes. And that includes The People, the
Sunday tabloid from the same publishers as the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror. Did The People have
the best intentions when they made a mistake in a story they ran about Andy Carroll?
Last Weekend, 'The People' ran a story claiming that Liverpool had put Andy Carroll on a 12 month
fitness schedule in a bid to improve his performances for the club. It was obvious from first-read

So our friends at Barca sent this cool video as part of the club's new campaign to foster
"healthy eating habits". In it, Lionel Messi appears as a cross between the a
14-year-old version of himself and Tin Tin the detective. "I know that if I train and eat
well, I will win the Ballon d'Or," he drawls lazily, clearly unaware they would be using
this footage again 10 years later.
Why Warnock's a big loser even when he wins
It was great to see QPR boss Neil Warnock looking so buoyed by the vibrant performance of his

Park Ji-Sung put in a brilliant display against Chelsea a couple of weekends ago, working
tirelessly in midfield to keep possession for United.
Park's best mate, Patrice Evra, reckons it must be something he eats.
"Ji's unbelievable," said Evra. "I was just laughing when I was watching the
Chelsea game when he was running, because it was unbelievable.
The energy demands of training and match play can be tremendous. Running, sprinting, cutting,
turning, and jumping all add to the energy cost of soccer. In fact, studies show that a soccer
match requires more total energy than almost any other sport. At the Science of Soccer Online, we
have stressed the need for players to eat a solid diet.
The U.S. WNT players got done with all of their soccer responsibilities today in time to settle in
and watch the Super Bowl. The Steelers fans are a bit sad right now (sorry, Meghans), but the
players sincerely enjoyed the game as well as the halftime pizza party (see below). A few players
even made a quick stop at the supermarket (see above) before the game to pick up some supplies.
Orgy's are part of a staple footballers diet, they help to raise their moral when they
are feeling a tad self confident and there's nothing wrong with it at all. Apparently, this
footballer is 'Clean-cut, plays for a top 10 side and is an international player, let the
uneducated guesses and predictions begin!
