Soccer Tickets Online 29 September @ 07:00 AM EST

Background: Diego Serna spent six years in MLS. When he first arrived here from Colombia, he did quite well and was even named to the 2001 MLS Best XI. U.S. Open Cup: An upset-free zone

The Netminder 10 June @ 10:15 AM EST
The soccer pyramid was impossible to climb in first-round Open Cup games Tuesday. We had one upset that really wasn't, given their league forms and the narrow gap (if any) between the NPSL and PDL. Another USASA team came close to beating a nominally pro team, while history-rich Rochester needed a late goal and penalties to beat USL2 opposition. Click to continue reading...

Miami FC survive scare to win 2-1 over Lynch's FC and advance in the U.S. Open Cup.

Football-Soccer in Miami and Beyond 10 June @ 12:04 AM EST
Miami FC was able to overcome a 1-0 deficit at half time and defeated Lynch's FC by scoring 2 goals in 1 minute.
Lynch's drew first blood at the 35th minute off of a penalty that left the crowd gathered at Tropical Park silent. As half time came and went things looked bleak for the Blues until a confusing play that looked like a penalty in favor of Miami FC led to the first goal by Paulo Araujo at the 64th minute. Diego Serna: The Second Coming

Football-Soccer in Miami and Beyond 30 April @ 03:19 AM EST
In the past two weeks Miami FC has been the revelation of USL. A team that came out of the starting blocks with only weeks of preparation yet their showing so far has been impressive. The one man that stands out the most in this team is Diego Serna. This player, at the twilight of his career has shown that he still has what it takes to play at a high level and I was lucky he granted me a few moments of his time. Click to continue reading...

INCOMING: Diego Serna to Red Bull New York

MLS Rumors 12 February @ 12:01 PM EST

Big Apple Soccer is reporting that former NY Metrostar, 34 year old Colombian striker, Diego Serna

A Record In The Making

Black Panther 01 July @ 04:57 PM EST
Maybe it's the horrible hair or his skill on the ball but no one has been talking about an MLS Toja of FC Dallas is well on his way to setting. The young Colombian was brought in by Steve Morrow for his offensive skills. He has done well in fulfilling that role. It seems that along with reaching back in history for the Spinal Tap hair, Toja noticed that now ex-FC Dallas Simo Valakari had lead the league in fouls committed during his 3 years in the league.
