I turn my back for one minute and Creepy Jose Romero turns into a 14-year-old dick. On Houston

No Sounders FC practice today, but thanks to the Dynamo press crew that really does a
nice job, I've learned that Houston's home field is down to upper level end zone and sideline

Well, wasn't that all a pleasant surprise last night. Getting a lead, and holding it (eventually),
Nasri and Eduardo getting 90 minutes, Craig Eastmond being an absolute powerhouse in the middle of
the park, the fact that the more Liverpool raised the tempo, the better we played, Fabianksi not
looking like Nervianski at all, Kerrea (FYI Sky it's not Gary or Ciara) growing into his position,
Fran's wonder strike.

... it's gonna be the Yankees that the Phillies have to put in their place to take the World
Series again. Be there, starting Wednesday night ... as two ex-Cleveland aces go up against each
other in their new(er) uniforms. That's CC vs. Cliff Lee. Let's go, Phillies, you can do it!
And I love hearing that George Will has gone after Dick for his "dithering" comment noting that
a little "dithering" by the Bushies might have been helpful before invading Iraq.

In yet another club versus country debate, Belgium have come down hard on midfielder Marouane
Fellaini. Unlike most other club versus country dilemmas, though, Fellaini is coming under fire
simply for choosing to receive long overdue surgery to get his wisdom teeth removed. Belgium,
meanwhile, has reacted angrily to his decision as they are clamoring for the Everton player to be
banned from club football this coming weekend.

Club vs Country row officially just got SILLY! (Hence obligatory use of Mr Silly Image

Belgium have asked Fifa to prevent Marouane Fellaini from playing for Everton this
weekend.
After playing in Belgium's win over Turkey at the weekend, the midfielder has pulled out of
their clash with Estonia on Wednesday because of surgery he needed on his wisdom teeth.

Worle FC a local club in Somerset, England found a huge penis drawn on their pitch on Monday.
But this wasn't an on-the-spot prank. This was planned. According to Worle FC assistant manager
Mark Chesney, the club had their line painter locked up, so whoever did it brought their own. And
who are the suspects for this oddly proportioned work of art?

Plenty of MLS clubs will be interested in tonight's mid-week clash at Dick's Sporting Goods Park
as the Colorado Rapids host the San Jose Earthquakes. Plenty of clubs want Colorado out of the
playoff picture while San Jose is hoping to not just play the role of spoiler but go on a crazy run
of wins to get them back into the playoffs for the first time in a few years.

Stadium, but a toothache last Saturday night led to a painful wisdom tooth extraction this week.

In the long ago time of May 2009 when this grueling, mind-numbing dead period known as summer
was just a cloud on the horizon Benfica issued a statement saying they had no interest in Brazilian
midfielder Ramires. So, of course, the very next day they signed him.
The only problem is that the Portuguese stock market (CMVM) didn't think this was so cool of
them, and threatened to fine them up to €2.
