Liverpool full-back Martin Kelly has spoken of his respect for colleague Daniel Ayala, despite the

Rumours are rife as we all know about Chelsea at the moment and there seems to be no stopping the
press at the moment. Ashley Cole has said this week:
""Of course every club wants to see new players and at a club like Chelsea you know whoever comes
in will be world-class, you would love to see new players but it's not my money they're spending
and it's not down to me.

When Barry Moat's Newcastle United takeover bid failed, a lot of supporters feared that without
money to invest in players, we'd struggle to add to our already depleted squad. The current
Newcastle squad is probably just good enough to get out of the Championship, but without
further investment, it's looking bleak for our future Premier League survival.

The slight air of unreality surrounding our season so far was further compounded by the sight of
Jermaine Jenas and Tom Huddlestone in an England midfield, baking under a Middle Eastern sun as the
whiplash gales destroyed my garden fence. Congratulations to all our internationals, especially to
Tom on his debut.
