There's something beautifully eerie about Arsenal's Emirates stadium when it experiences a night
of snowfall. It almost looks like a scene out of the Twilight Zone and the colour
of the sky just takes you to a different place. What are these goose pimples? Bring back
November, please!

You're looking at Munich's Olympiastadion, which will be the host to the Women's
European Champions League Finale on May 17! The Olympiastadion was built for 1972 Olympics and it
also hosted the 1974 FIFA World Cup Final. You may not recognize it because none of the games from
the 2006 World Cup tournament were played there.

Robin van Persie and his wife, Bouchra, were at Downing Street to meet British Prime Minister,
David Cameron earlier this week. Robin is the ambassador of football youth charity 'Street League',
which encourages education and football programmes for young people to develop skills they can
later use in the working world.
Everything about Samir Nasri's look here screams: "TA
BOUCHE! I'm worth £4million more than
you!" (SNAP to the Maybelline Mascara ads) but
even Liverpool's Jordan Henderson must've shrugged it off in their slim 1-0 victory over Man City
last night.
Everybody's favourite Bullet Without Borders man, Maradona,
has questioned Leonardo's role at Paris Saint-Germain, where he is currently the club's sporting
director alongside coach Carlo Ancelotti. Maradona painfully complained that he
doesn't understand this set-up which clearly translates to : "Why is Leonardo spared from those
dreadful cake-cutting ceremonies Al Wasl puts me through?

We can't deny we were quite the lushes this weekend.
With our gluttony on a roll, we give you Carles Puyol's thigh(s). This may or may not resemble
your brain on drugs, but just go with it. It's the best we can offer you at this time.
Saturday
- The Mirror tried to get cute with an infographic of their own but nothing will beat
the original.
The verdict is out... UN GRAN SÍ!! More La Liga matches should kick
off at noon (sudden death to your Saturday night hangovers) simply because the natural lighting at
the stadiums are amazing. Madrid looked like they were playing out their FIFA 12
characters in real time at the Bernabeu yesterday.
AS Roma's midfielder Daniele De Rossi is truly the best man to give that pre-match motivational

Before you start sussing out the best Mancini Halloween costumes for this
weekend (oh come on! don't deny it), here are a few of the best photos from yesterday's classic
Manchester derby, which left a sour taste in Fergie's mouth... and
Chicharito's, unfortunately.

Ah, leave it to the Azzurri to tour the football pitch in style!
Seriously though, you could set up a fashion runway right in the middle of Belgrade's
Marakana stadium and the Italian national team won't look an inch out of place.
Work it, bellissimo!

There's nothing that screams "German Simon Cowell!" more than this shot of
Joachim Loew sitting comfortably at yesterday's German NT press conference. Yeah,
it's totally normal to put a black sofa at the training ground my dad did it once,
Dunga sat on it.

Wayne Rooney, father of er... Wayne Rooney, has been arrested by police for his involvement in a
match fixing scandal, it has been reported. Wayne's uncle Richie and Motherwell midfielder Steve
Jennings are also among the nine men being held in relation to suspicious betting activity
surrounding a fixture between Motherwell and Heart of Midlothian last December.
Nah, don't scratch your screens... it's only David Villa sin cera del

entire team received their gold medals last night- the highest recognised sporting distinction in
the country following their World Cup triumph last year.

Here's Kun Aguero and Tevez, clearly excited that the Champions League is
finally upon us again! Everything about the competition except for the name 'Michel Platini' is
incredibly thrilling anyway. At the top of everyone's minds today will inevitably be the
Bayern Munich-Man City Group A fixture, where we can imagine City being favourites
to pull off an upset victory.
While Del Piero tries to stare you down for giving him evils about being on the
Juventus bench, let us take you through some Serie A highlights from the
weekend!
- AS Roma defeated Parma 1-0 with the sole goal coming from Osvaldo.
Right, so Real Madrid and Barcelona came away from the weekend with nice
thrashings of their opponents (6-2 and 5-0 respectively). But while the socios are out
popping their 1,245th bottle of champagne clearly you can all start to see a pattern here? The La
Liga is starting to morph into that dreary prospect of a two-legged race!

Ah yes, if it isn't the guys of Bayern Munich in their traditional Bavarian
costumes! On a wet, rainy Monday yesterday, Thomas Mueller, Arjen Robben, Manuel Neuer,
Philipp Lahm and co' arrived at the training ground for the club's annual photo shoot with
a beer company.
Well of course, it must be horrible to lose to a team you beat 8-0 in the Copa
del Ray last season but that's exactly what happened to Madrid against Levante last night...
¡qué pena!! Khedira got sent off shortly before half-time, which proved
to be a huge boost for the home side and Levante capitalised on Madrid's sluggish
performance to win 1-0 thanks to Arouna Kone's goal.
