The Sun are reporting this morning that Danny Simpson was left bleeding and unconscious on a Manchester street for 15 minutes after being sparked out in a fight outside a fast food takeaway at 4:00am on Sunday morning.

Witnesses said that, after a verbal altercation, Simpson clobbered a man "in his late 40s or 50s" then climbed into a taxi, only to be pulled from the vehicle by another man (both were apparently off-duty bouncers) and punched in the face.
