Cameron Keys, a member of the Philadelphia Union's academy system, was named as a part of US
Soccer's 36 player under-15 national team camp. The goalkeeper joins the national team system as
the country's two year cycle to prepare for the next under-17 World Cup begins.
Keys' addition to the national team pool at the youth level shows that the Union's 'odd' club
based academy system can produce potential American internationals beyond current first team player
Zach Pfeffer - the team's first ever home grown player signing.
Over the last week, youth soccer teams from all across the world converged on the state of Texas
to compete in the 2011 edition of the prestigious Dallas Cup.
One Union affiliate club was involved in the action as Lehigh Valley United sent two of their
teams to compete in Dallas.
Back in Pennsylvania, the Union hosted the national talent search Sueño MLS at their YSC Sports
training facilities.
Every Easter week, Dallas plays host to one of the largest and more prominent youth tournaments in
the nation (and the world). This year we had the opportunity to travel north from FBM HQ in Austin
to take in the thirty-second edition of the Dallas Cup. Hundred of teams, thousands of players, and
tens of thousands of fans took in a week's worth of action.

The FC Milwaukee Under-14 boys team tied two of its group matches this week at the 32nd annual
Dallas Cup.
The Nationals opened Group G on Sunday with a 3-1 loss to Milan FC Rossoneri from Hilmar,
Calif., then played 1-1 draws with Lonestars Pre-USSF Academy of Austin, Texas, on Monday and Mana
from Monterrey, Mexico, on Wednesday.
Free beer at a youth tournament usually sounds like a bad idea (that's what the make flasks for,
dad!), but the FBM is getting on the road to the nation's largest and most prestigious youth
tournament in the nation, the Dallas Cup.
With the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal, Corinthians, and several Major League Soccer sides sending
their babies to D-Town.

Barrett tallied his first goal in a Galaxy uniform on last Sunday's victory against the Chicago
Fire. After starting several matches at the beginning of the season, Barrett has been resigned to
the bench with Argentine Miguel Lopez taking his slot alongside Juan Pablo Angel.
In another solid production from Nike, members of the Dallas Texans Academy team - as well as
Barcelona -
talk about the importance of bouncing back after a loss. The Texans opened Dallas Cup Super Group
play with a loss to Arsenal and, you might have heard, that Barcelona dropped its first match to FC
Dallas Academy.
