The more than 500 hundred million dollars that went into the recent renovations of BC Place seem to be well spent as the incredibly aesthetic building as been a great host to the USA and all the teams in the CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. The down-sizing of the upper deck with flowing tarps that drape out over the field rather than back over the seats makes the venue intimate and the artificial turf field is about as good as you can get for that kind of surface.
