Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to try again for Crystal Palace superkid Victor Moses.
The Daily Star says Arsene Wenger has tracked the Eagles forward, 19, for two years and came close
to snaring him in August 2008.
But the Gunners baulked at the south Londoners' £5m asking price and were only prepared to fork
out £1m plus add-ons for a player they saw as unproven.

We'll be back a little later on today with a report on the match between Paulton Rovers and
Norwich City. In the meantime, however, The First Round of The FA Cup started yesterday evening
with three matches. The remainder, of course, are to be played over the next three days. One of the
traditions of The FA Cup is the press sending one of their hacks who is probably none too happy at
not being to assigned to a Premier League match to write a few words about the smaller clubs that
are taking their spot in the limelight.

The Daily Star claims that Rafael Benitez is set to offer Emile Heskey a return to Liverpool in the
January transfer window, providing the England striker with a World Cup lifeline in the

Heskey has admitted he will consider his future when the transfer window reopens, if he continues
to warm the bench at Aston Villa, and he has also attracted the interest of Fulham after starting
just one Premier League game this season.

For it was against Wigan last season that Eboue, on as a sub, was himself subbed, and the
decision by Arsene Wenger was applauded and he left the field to boos.

be blamed for poor performances.
