The Daily Star says Arsene Wenger has tracked the Eagles forward, 19, for two years and came close to snaring him in August 2008.

For it was against Wigan last season that Eboue, on as a sub, was himself subbed, and the decision by Arsene Wenger was applauded and he left the field to boos.

Benitez Hits Back At Carragher's Critics

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has hit back at critics who have targeted Jamie Carragher.
The Reds have made a stuttering start to the new Premier League season, losing 2-1 to Tottenham on the opening weekend and slipping up at home to Aston Villa.
