Now that the Hex has drawn to a close, we know the three teams that are moving on to South Africa, and which one still has some work to do. CONCACAF always gets a bad rap, from within and without, in regard to its level of play. The USA is really gearing up for another two-game stint against El Salvador and Trinidad & Tobago.

Back in late March, the USA struggled to a 2-2 draw against El Salvador at Cuscatlan, with Frankie Hejduk nicking a late point after a sloppy game. The Americans followed that up with a bludgeoning 3-0 win over the Soca Warrior islanders in Nashville.

New coach Javier Aguirre has already breathed new life into Mexico's stricken team even before they have kicked a ball in anger under his leadership.

Aguirre begins his second stint on Saturday when Mexico, currently out of the direct qualifying places for the World Cup finals, visit El Salvador's Cuscatlan stadium, where visiting teams can be assured of a hostile reception.

Gracias a Hugol que desde el Salvador nos cuenta que LA Firpo es campeón nuevamente y ahora se convierte en Bi-campeón arrasando en el fútbol salvadoreño:
Luis Ángel Firpo levanta dos coronas, después de haber pasado 7 años y medio viendo desfilar trofeos a otras vitrinas y coleccionar más subcampeonatos -aunque la copa que dan al subcampeón es más grande, no vale lo mismo leer la nota completa
