Arsenal Station 22 October @ 06:53 AM EST

Arsene will spend his 60th birthday today at the club's Annual General Meeting with the shareholders, and, unlike last season, a much more cordial atmosphere is to be expected.

I watched the AGM last year and I have to say that the reports in the press made it seem as though Arsene was attacked and strung up by his legs by the shareholders, who went on to poke and prod him but eventually let him go.

Juve had it out for Ronaldo

Dirty Tackle 01 August @ 12:47 AM EST

Although Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second goal for Real Madrid off another penalty kick, his side lost 2-1 to Juventus in their Peace Cup semifinal. And on the way to that defeat, it seemed Ronaldo was a marked man, as Zdenek Grygera delivered a boot to his knee (DTotD Weekend Edition, if you will) in the 88th minute to which Ronaldo reacted as if his kneecap literally exploded off of his body and someone then proceeded to poke the blast wound with a hot knife.

Is It Theo Walcott’s Time At Arsenal?

EPL Talk 22 July @ 09:30 AM EST

When Arsene Wenger told the press he was in no hurry to spend Emmanuel Adebayor's transfer fee and would replace him with "an internal player," more than a few people probably had the same reaction: "Same old Wenger, always stingy."

A quick look over Arsenal's roster, however, proves Wenger indeed has no shortage of options at forward.
