As we mentioned in a previous post MiamiSoccerFan.com finally released the letter that was sent to David Beckham.
It reads as follows:

Dear Mr. Beckham,
We want to tell you about our dream.
We dream of a Major League Soccer team in South Florida.
We ask you to consider Miami / Ft Lauderdale for expansion as the 20th team of Major League Soccer.

We still no know in what league Miami FC will play next years. Will it be USL? Will it be MLS-2? We don't know, pero the team has made a commitment that they will play next year and Burrito has found out from drunken sources in the last tailgate at Lockhearts stadium that Miami FC plans to build a superdupper teams consisting of young and veteran players !

The day has finally arrived!
Only a few weeks ago Miami FC looked like it was a goner. But Traffic Sports has faith in South Florida and they have kept professional soccer alive. Traffic looks to be in this venture for the long run, so it is time for the fans to support this team and go to Lockhart Stadium tonight April 18 at 8pm as the Mighty "Blues" take on the Cleveland City Stars.

The National Soccer Hall of Fame has announced the ten former stars on the ballot for this year's Veteran Player election. I don't vote in this one (Hall of Famers do), but here are some thoughts on the ten veterans up for election (they're the exact same ten as last year, when no one was elected):

I was conversating with Kartik Krishnaiyer after a Miami FC game and this topic emerged. Although people don't want to admit it, there is quite a history in this town. Memory Lane was a place that we visited and all of these names started to surface. It was incredible as the history we started to retell came to life in my childish mind as Valderrama was the most relevant one.
