With Champions League action done and dusted once again, attention turns to the Europa League today. Americans Tim Howard and Clint Dempsey could all see action again as their respective clubs continue group play.

Howard and Everton head to Borisov, Belarus to take on FC BATE. The lengthy trip will certainly factor into the squad selection, though this second match could be critical for an Everton side that started off well with a 4-0 win against AEK Athens at home.

Fulham, Everton in action as Europa League Group Stages start today

Soccer By Ives 17 September @ 10:31 AM EST

With the Europa League group stages starting today, it will likely translate into European action on a regular basis for Fulham and Everton regulars Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard. However, Dempsey is set to miss Fulham's opener against CSKA Sofia due to an injury. With Roy Hodgson set to rest a number of regular starters, there's a chance -- however slight -- that Eddie Johnson might see some action today against the Russian club.
