Of course with a headline like this, I just had to post about it. The article in today's SUN heaps
more pressure on AVB at Chelsea when would you believe it, we are playing United on Sunday!.
That's not like the press to put pressure on a Chelsea manager before a big game is it?.
The quote taken from the article from a "top source" states the following:
"Jose would go back to Chelsea.
Kenny Dalglish has made four changes to the side that beat Manchester City for today's crunch clash
with Manchester United. With five defenders named in the staring eleven, it looks like Kenny
Dalglish may (unfortunately) go with a more defensive formation. Here is the full team: Reina,
Kelly, Enrique, Agger, Skrtel, Carragher, Henderson, Gerrard, Downing, Maxi, Carroll.

AC Milan have officially ended their pursuit of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez after their
bid worth more than €20 million was turned down by the club yesterday.
Milan vice president Adriano Galliani confirmed that talks had broken down saying that City were
holding out for €35 million which for Milan is too pricey.

With the departure of Cesc and Nasri, no matter what you think of the players, it's obvious that
our goals from the midfield area have reduced. Whether this be down to the injury of Wilshire, or
the lack of width provided by the full backs, I don't know. But, with Arshavin looking increasingly
on his way out, what has become clear is that Arsenal are in need of an attacking midfielder/wide
player who can create and score goals in equal measure.

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is once again making headlines for all the wrong
reasons. The 21 year old Italy international missed City's 1-0 loss to Sunderland yesterday for
reasons that still remain very unclear.
According to City manager Roberto Mancini, Balotelli was not included in City's line up because
of an 'ankle problem'.
Following his side's huge 2-1 win over Manchester City yesterday, Chelsea boss Andres
Villas-Boas is confident that his side is back in the title race. The Blues are now just seven
points back of league leaders Manchester City, and the young manager is convinced that with so many
competitive teams it's not a huge points difference.
It might seem a little strange to say so, especially since Wolves are one of the worst sides in the
Premier League, but this afternoon's match at Old Trafford should be looked at with anticipation.
No, not the kind of anticipation that's felt ahead of a crunch clash in May, but the kind of
anticipation [.

We love taking nervous boys under our (pterodactyl-like) wings and er... offering consolation.
This is exactly what we were planning when we saw this photo of Yoann Gourcuff arriving in Croatia
for Lyon's crunch Champions League tie vs. Dinamo Zagreb. With the benefit of hindsight, we needn't
have bothered.
Chelsea score a vital three points away to Newcastle in a match that was, well, fucking insane.
I mean, Salomon Kalou played clearly at the suggestion of Devin and even contrived to score the
pivotal second. Yes, it was that bizarre of a day.
Old Man Winter
Um, yeah.
In Sunday's crunch-match I have gone for the same team that Kenny put out against Chelsea.
Bellamy is a real handful running at defences wether wide or central as shown from his goal-scoring
pass to Maxi.
Downing is a left-sided winger and he should be played there, with Kuyt to fill in on the right.
Ahmad Latif's goal just after the hour mark means that the SLeague won't be decided until Sunday
when both Home United and Tampines Rovers play their final game of the season.
You could say it's advantage Tampines as they have a narrow one point lead going into Crunch Sunday
(hey, ESPN do it all the time) but Home United have the superior goal difference.
In all honesty, it is not often I can look back on a Manchester United draw in satisfaction.
However, following a couple of weeks where attacking play seems like a taboo, United fans
anticipated a strong offensive performance when Benfica visited Old Trafford for their Champions
League crunch match. After the Derby Day slaughtering at [.
Anfield legend Alan Hansen believes that Liverpool's 'fantastic and thoroughly professional'
victory over Chelsea has 'set the team up magnificently' for the crunch game with Manchester City
this weekend.
Liverpool now have quality players fighting it our for most positions in the team, and Hansen
believes this strength in depth has 'raised the standard of the team in general'.
City beware: Napoli might be out of sorts but the continent's counter attacking kings
are still a force
Manchester City are currently preparing for their crunch Champions League clash with Napoli
tonight. Roberto Mancini and his team could do a lot worse than read this in-depth scouting report
by our resident Serie A expert, footballitaliano.
Been going through Manchester United withdrawals over the last couple of weeks? You're not the only
one. Thankfully, there are no more international disruptions for quite a while. While next
Tuesday's match against Benfica looms large, United have some business to take care of before that
crunch Champions League tie.
According to Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas, Liverpool FC are genuine title contenders this
season. Given the club's patchy home form and continuing problems in front of goal, this doesn't
seem very likely, but you never know in football. Is AVB right?
Villas-Boas made his surprising admission during a press conference on Friday, arguing:
"I think Daglish has made the necessary changes for Liverpool to be considered title contenders
this year.
Dalglish Blasts Fixture Schedule
Kenny Dalglish has blasted the fixture schedule that will see Liverpool play two games at
opposite ends of the country within just 48 hours. The Reds face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the
quarter-final of the Carling Cup on the 29th November, off the back of a crunch clash away against
Manchester City on the 27th.
The Seattle Sounders sorely missed injured playmaker Mauro Rosales during their 3-0 Western
Conference semifinal first leg loss to Real Salt Lake, and now it appears the Sounders won't have
Rosales for their crunch second-leg clash at CenturyLink Field on Wednesday either.
Seattle head coach Sigi Schmid told the Seattle Times that he doesn't expect Rosales to be able
to play on Wednesday as he is still dealing with the knee injury he suffered in the Sounders'
regular season finale against Chivas USA.
This is not the first time Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is defending himself against claims of
forcing out players he dislikes. After taking over from Frank Rijkaard in 2008, Guardiola made it
very clear that Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Deco would no longer be part of his plans as coach of the
Catalans.
Liverpool 'defender' Glen Johnson has started two games since his return from injury, and it comes
as no surprise to me that in both games, he has made mistakes that have led directly to opposition
goals.
Fans can keep burying their heads in the sand but the the brutal truth is that whenever Johnson is
on the field, he is a defensive accident waiting to happen.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is positive that his side will pick up all the 3 points on
offer this Saturday when they host Manchester United at Anfield in a crunch Premier League
fixture.
United are the early run away leaders of the EPL with 19 points after winning 6 of the 7 matches
played so far.
Manchester United's Wayne Rooney may be an unfortunate mixture of Evertonian and Manc, but that
doesn't stop him from appreciating the brilliance of Kenny Dalglish's footballing ability.

Liverpool youngster Danny Wilson insists being dropped from Scotland's senior squad has only

After failing to win a first-team place at Anfield this season, Wilson has been left out of

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has insisted to England boss Fabio Capello that he is not chosen

You have to be pleased with what you saw.
It's been quite a week for the Arsenal. Some fans calling for the manager's head, some insisting
"In Arsene we trust" and others sat nervously on the fence wondering whether there is a light at
the end of this seemingly dark tunnel, quietly hoping that their club will pull through causing
them anxiety if not painful splinters!
