President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has reportedly signed a presidential decree on the naturalization of six foreign football players, allowing them to become Indonesian.

As you may have gathered, there's not really an awful lot going on today save Kun's imminent move to City, so we're hoping that this round-up of decent goals from various friendly games around the world will go someway to filling your daily quota of football goodness.

For the third consecutive game it took a strong second half performance for United to beat an MLS team. And once again it was Wayne Rooney who inspired the second-half performance, just as he did in Seattle last weekend.

Rumors of Pavel Pardo are flying around Chicago Fire Country and I think this as close to a done deal as you can get for written and non-written reasons. The only problem? Could there be any more dire penalty taking than the Selecao display against Paraguay? Elano and Andre Santos were completely off target while Thiago Silva's effort was saved by Justo Villar. Each miss left the Brazilians in the stands looking incredulous.

At the other end Paraguay kept its nerve after Edgar Barreto dragged his shot wide left.

Another chance for the Portland Timbers to redeem themselves tomorrow. More importantly is that it's also a chance to finally win a game on the road. As much as we would all love for the Timbers to be able to coast through the season with home wins (which are getting rarer each week) it's simply not possible to rely on them all the time.

Since taking over the Chicago Fire's coaching duties, interim head coach Frank Klopas has preached about strengthening the defense on set pieces.
The Fire had not allowed a set-piece goal during Klopas' first seven games at the helm.

With all of the Chicago Fire's recent forward acquisitions, there couldn't be room for everybody in Frank Klopas' stable of strikers, and Gaston Puerari is the odd man out.

The Fire sold Puerari, a Uruguayan forward acquired in the offseason, to Mexican club Atlas on Wednesday for an undisclosed transfer fee.

Columbus 0 – Chicago 1 Following the script from a couple of Saturday games, Chicago left it very late on Sunday to take three points from Columbus at Crew Stadium. Cristian Nazarit's stoppage time goal was the difference, giving Chicago four points from their two games in Week 13. Chicago unloaded on the offense against Columbus, putting nine of their 20 shots on frame to the Crew's two from nine.
