Bellamy concern over career

Bitter and Blue 20 November @ 05:57 AM EST
"I know there are not four or five years ahead of me, not with the injuries I've had," revealed Bellamy. "Maybe I've got one or two years at the most. It will be all over before I know it, so I'm just enjoying it."

>>Craig Bellamy

I remember when he signed for us, Bellamy spoke of it being a 'last chance' of sorts for him which could well explain the attitude and form he has shown since arriving.

United Sack Ferguson & May Repent At Leisure

Twohundredpercent 11 November @ 06:22 PM EST

It has been one of the quieter football revolutions of the last decade Peterborough United have, over the last couple of years, gone from being also-rans in League Two to being back in the Championship for the first time (if we gloss over the various name changes) for the first time since 1994.

It’s my birthday today

The Goon Blog - an Arsenal blog. 11 November @ 03:07 PM EST

...and I would really appreciate it if I had an Arsenal win to enjoy, sadly that does not seem to be the case due to another round of utterly pointless internationals.

There is only one bit of news and I wouldn't really call it news.

Jack Wilshere is looking forward to playing Citeh at Middle Eastlands in the Carling Cup and believes we can go all the way to Wembley, Jack the Hobbit said:

"It will be good to play against Manchester City and I hope they play a full team.

Ice Cream Kid’s new nemesis

Dirty Tackle 08 November @ 05:11 PM EST

Some people feel the need to rub ice cream on their faces at matches, others apparently take the more hygienically responsible route and brush their teeth during substitutions. The fan in the above clip from today's 1-0 Chelsea win over United at Stamford Bridge shows that dental care is something to be taken seriously no matter where you are even if you're standing up front at one of the biggest matches of the season so far.

I'm hungry, bring on the Spuds

LadyArse - Arsenal and the world of football from a woman's perspective @ OleOl 29 October @ 09:08 AM EST
Well, wasn't that all a pleasant surprise last night. Getting a lead, and holding it (eventually), Nasri and Eduardo getting 90 minutes, Craig Eastmond being an absolute powerhouse in the middle of the park, the fact that the more Liverpool raised the tempo, the better we played, Fabianksi not looking like Nervianski at all, Kerrea (FYI Sky it's not Gary or Ciara) growing into his position, Fran's wonder strike. Hughes praise for Fulham win

Bitter and Blue 24 September @ 01:33 PM EST
Mark Hughes heaped on the praise following last night's 2-1 victory over Fulham:
"It was a difficult night. Fulham scoring first was exactly what they wanted. They were very well organised, with plenty of players behind the ball and difficult to break down.

"We had to be patient, keep the ball moving and create things, because with Craig, Carlos and Shaun up front knocking high balls into their penalty box isn't an option.

Republik Of Mancunia 23 September @ 04:00 AM EST

"All Craig has done is go over there and tell the guy to get off the pitch," said Mark Hughes. "Craig wasn't privy to how much time was left to enable us to get back into the game. The guy made an aggressive move towards him and Craig wanted to get him off the pitch. Craig just put a defensive hand out to push him away.
