Kenny Dalglish feeling the heat after a series of underwhelming displays by Liverpool in the
Premiership was able to get a satisfying consolation in today's Carling Cup match pipping City to
the Wembley finals.

75 points is a fairly hefty points deduction, but according the the Daily Record, that's the
kind of points haul that Rangers could be docked if they don't manage to sort out their financial
mess.
Matt Holliday can't be happy right now. The superstar for the St. Louis Cardinals will miss Game
7 of the World Series due to a wrist injury. Instead of Holliday, the Cardinals will turn to Allen
