John Terry is at the thick of it all again. Here's my thoughts: Yes, the FA had
considerable case to strip him, but in doing so they have effectively gone against their own coach
(don't these people ever communicate with each other? It's almost as though they pass messages to
each other though the press.

An absolute cracker to start the day...
Puyol and Pique are the hairy pair that play at the back for Barca and, as
you're already well aware, 'We Are Our Mountains' is a huge monument hewn from
volcanic rock in the Stepanakert region of Northern Armenia.
Former Manchester United striker Manucho scores a cracker as Angola beat Burkino Faso 2-1 in the
African Cup of Nations.
With Victory showing sides of improvement last week, and Harry Kewell turning in another quality
performance tonight's game should be a belter.
Big crowd, great stadium and lots of footballers on the park.
If Victory can seal their defence, the team could gain some serious confidence and climb the
ladder.

It's going to be a cracker tonight and here is a video promo I have found for the game on YouTube.
It's short and sweet but get's the excitement going. Full credit for this video goes to Evgeniy

Have a watch and let me know what you all think.

So with the crux of the holiday season around the corner here are the top 5 noise makers for the
blues this merry season:
#5 - Romeu
Highly understated. His performances have been amazing, most notably the assurance with he
passes the ball around in his position. Very glad to hear that Barca only have a first option to
buy him ONLY IF Chelsea decide to release him and not a buy back clause as initially reported!

Arsenal are off to City tomorrow, and by a good stroke of luck, I am too. Through a contact, a
friend has managed to secure a couple of tickets for what promises to be absolute cracker of a
game. I'll be in the City end however, so should I never post on [...]

It was an exciting end to Champions League qualification in Group F as Leaders Arsenal slumped
to a shock 3-1 away defeat to Olympiakos while Marseille made it through to the last 16 with a 3-2
win over Dortmund.
Arsenal who had already qualified for the knock out stages prior to last night's match, played
the match without its stars as Coach Arsene Wenger took the opportunity to test some of his
players.
I must say I always enjoy it when a German club comes to town. They invariably bring loads of
fans, make lots of noise and have a cracking time. Marseille and Arsenal might still be in the
driving seats in this group, but Dortmund's win on Matchday 4* means they are very much back in it,
and if that fact hasn't been drummed into the team throughout this week in training then I'm a
goalscoring Dutchman.
Remember Alex, protect the left side
13th of September 2011 seemed like such a long ago now. Both Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund were
really struggling at that time. A little over 2 months since both teams played out a 1-1 draw at
Signal Iduna Park and pretty much everything happened in between these 2 games.
Parkgate silenced the large Boro following and stunned their opponents with a goal inside the
first minute of play, following a poor clearance by the Boro defence, Nathan Swindells was left
with an easy opportunity and he took his chance well striking the ball home from near the edge of
the penalty area.
AC Milan are just one win away from a place in the lat 16 of the Champions League after beating
BATE Borizov last night with Kevin Prince Boateng scoring a cracker to ensure the victory from all
of 20 yards.

Wigan Athletic 1-3 Bolton Wanderers Premier League 15 October 2011
Wigan gave yet another fine example of how not to defend in their 3-1 home defeat at the hands
of Bolton.
Defensive errors were central to the home side's defeat yet again, with Bolton, a side hardly on
top form this season, all too happy to capitalise.
Melbourne Victory 3 Central Coast Mariners 3 November 3, 2006 Welcome to the very last Classic

Gael Kakuta has spoken out this week at his lack of first team opportunities so far at Bolton and
it's no surprise really. Kakuta signed for Bolton on a season long loan in the summer hoping to
follow in the footsteps of Danny Sturridge but so far has just been limited to a fantastic debut in
the league cup against Aston Villa where he scored a cracker.
One person that will split opinion amongst Chelsea fans is Jose Bosingwa. Not the best player
defensively compared to others we have at the club, but one of the best attacking defenders, he
seems to have established himself as a first team regular this season under AVB.
It's all very different to last season where there had been constant speculation that he would be
one of the players to leave the club back in the summer.

The inaugural Major League Soccer game at the newly renovated BC Place wasn't necessarily a one
to remember for the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The Portland Timbers managed to spoil Vancouver's stadium opening with a 1-0 upset thanks to a
cracker of a goal from Kenny Cooper on Sunday afternoon.
For some it was the sort of day where one points to the end result—a victory at Goodison—as
being enough, as being the only thing that really matters after a far from convincing performance.
There was Luis Suarez, who scored a goal in the end though his touch often seemed heavy and his
play a step off the pace.
Today, as many of you will know, was a hot one. I don't know exactly how hot one of those
digital displays on an advert said 26 degrees this afternoon at about 3 but it was, to borrow a
phrase, JAM HOT.
Anxious about being couped up in our small heat-trapping flat on a day like this we headed

Carlos headed home the game-winning goal for RangersSeveral U.S. internationals put their name on the scoresheet this past weekend, some contributing
to important results.
In Scotland, Carlos Bocanegra got his first goal for Rangers, the U.S. captain netting what turned
out to be the game-winner with a trademark header.
Valencia vs Barcelona – 9.21.11
"Beautifully released by Lionel Messi. Mathieu is all over Lionel but he can still measure it to
split millimeter perfection on the run under pressure – means nothing to him. Still another red
carpet pass."

By Clemente Lisi – NEW YORK, NY (Aug 23, 2011) US Soccer Players -- Goals are not all created
equal. Spanish-language TV announcers use the word golazo or bombazo to describe a great goal taken
from outside the penalty area. The Brits like to refer to one as a screamer or a cracker. Either
way, goals scored from outside the 18-yard box always get a rise in blood pressure from announcers.

A lot has been written about this 33-year-old and none of it is fair to the man--most of all his
hiring at Chelsea. You can't blame him for jumping at the opportunity, but this just smacks of a
guy being a little impatient and suffering from a little bit of an over-inflated ego.

It's not the possession. It's what you do with it.France had the ball for so much of this match
that its players seemed to forget what to do when they didn't. In minute 59, Jill Scott slipped

went from dream to nightmare.

I felt like I was watching my favorite Premier League side Arsenal Saturday night. The United
States built a 2-0 advantage over Mexico in the Gold Cup final before coughing up four goals. It
was an epic collapse and now it is time to look at what went wrong for the US.
Spain's u-21′s continued the Countries domination of International soccer as
they beat Switzerland 2-0 in last nights Final in Aahus Denmark.
Thiago scored a 40 yard free-kick one which showed his great vision and accuracy with the shot,
Anders Herrera scored the opener when he headed home from close range five minutes before
half-time, before Thiago's cracker settled the tie with just under ten minutes on the clock.
One of Landon's standout performances in his career came here in Tampa back in 2007 when he poured

a minute in, and the last an absolute cracker. That win marked the first of several achievements

In the end, it didn't matter what happened at Broadhall Way yesterday afternoon because
Chesterfield secured the League 2 title by beating Gillingham, therefore confirming that the
minimum position we would achieve would be 7th. With Torquay also losing in South Yorkshire against
Rotherham, Boro's point was enough to earn them 6th position and a playoff tie with Accrington
Stanley with the hope of progressing onto Old Trafford and ultimately League 1.
Still busy busy, but we can't forget to take a cracker break once in a while...I'm sorry, but
Al-Gharafa's Juninho has to be mentioned in any discussion of the free kick greats. He's not just
accurate, his stuff is always nasty. It's like trying to read a breaking pitch... that runs 92MPH.
Listen to the announcer, it hardly woke him up.
Another three goals from Chelsea in the space of 7 days and each of them were taken superbly. Goals
from Frank Lampard, Fernando Torres with his first for Chelsea and another cracker from Florent
Malouda settled it.
