In which, shortly before scoring the winning penalty in Man City's at-the-buzzer victory over
Tottenham yesterday afternoon, Mario Balotelli for reasons unknown quite obviously rakes his studs
down Scott Parker's Tibetan Fox face...
Not our Mario's finest moment.
Sczesny will do well to rectify his recent mistakes than worrying about his team mates'
dressing
Been absent without a post for a few days now. Plethora of reasons why I didn't write anything
new. From work to busy personal schedule (yes, there's more to me than just football), to still
being lost for words on what that goal on Monday did to me to just being pure and utterly lazy.
Get up. Play on. Under Armour Spec Ad from Jonathan Wright on Vimeo.
So Under Armor wants to get into the soccer apparel business? Here's their first advertising crack
from the brand that has made its name in the other football.
The premise is similar to one line from Nike's "Play Like American" ad that declared that we don't
dive.
Why I should have sold Charlie Adam last January
New year is always a time for looking back on the highs and lows of the previous 12 months, and
dreaming about your hopes and aspirations for the future. If I could be granted one wish for my
professional life for 2012 it would be for my Blackpool to get another crack at playing in the best
league in the world.
SPANISH SPORTS papers become creative during the Xmas Break as Football "stops" but the selling of
papers continue. One inventive daily is Barcelona based "Sport" which comes up with interesting
content, this case, an info-graph dedicated to FC BARCELONA crack ANDRES INIESTA. The diagram is in
Spanish but I believe it is intuitive enough for non-Spanish readers to get the gist.
I predicted a while back that Josh McEachran would be used by Chelsea as part of a possible
deal for Gary Cahill in January and according to some reports in the media this is exactly the
case. Chelsea have competition for Cahill's signature from the likes of Spurs and Arsenal but it's
being rumoured that Chelsea have now jumped to the front of the queue with McEachran thrown in as
part of a deal.
We hate to be the bearer of sad news, but this 1-year-old girl suffered the worst bruises (and
possibly a bone crack above her nose) in the car accident involving Germany's
Lukas Podolski in Cologne two days ago. There is some controversy involved as the child's mother,
Ulrike, has accused Lukas of being ignorant (which is pretty unfair to the
striker, to be honest!
This is a great story from "Mundo Deportivo". Young 11 year old TAKEFUSA KUBA, alias "TAKE" to his
young mates, has a dream, to become the first Japanese player in the history of FC BARCELONA.
Young TAKE is actually a "crack star" with the Barça "Alevin C" (junior) Team. Before signing with
Barça the youngster had European Clubs already knocking on his door.
Sorry, Darren, I always Fergetcher name Sir Alex Ferguson chose last night's Champions League clash
with Benfica to give a second crack at Manchester United first-team football to his 39-year-old son
and current Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson... or so the BBC would have you believe. The
reporter on last night's news got a bit confused [.
One report that grabbed my attention yesterday was that of Didier Drogba apparently being offered a
deal to join Samuel Eto'o at Anzhi Makhachkala.
Now it may not seem like a headline maker but when you hear that he was offered MORE MONEY than
Eto'o to move there (approx £10m per season) and he has apparently turned it down, I find it
staggering.

Protests, posters and even banners in the air seem to have done little to undermine the
Venky's unwavering support for Blackburn's beleaguered boss Steve Kean. Indeed, according to
reports today, the Scot has signed a new and improved contract with the club, in a development
which won't have gone down too well amongst the majority of Rovers fans.

Attention all bound-to-be-gorgeous 'baller baby watchers: Claudio Marchisio is bringing another

So about Mr Marchisio.
Executing Ben After a break for international week, the Stoppage Time crew are refreshed and back
to their best; scouring the internet for mind boggling clips from the wide world of football. Think

Roman Pav-erage-lachenko once again temporarily silenced his critics and showed why he is the most
frustrating Spurs player in the history of the game. Month after month of mediocrity with flashes
of quality few and far between. And last night brought us one of those flashes, and was swiftly
followed up with his latest mood swing in his post match comments.
Cabrera).

Time for a little game, at least...that's the dubious pretense anyway. It's actually just a
thinly-veiled chance for me to show off my incredible, award-winning* MS Paint chops with a bit of
Friday afternoon frippery.
Any road up, please feel free to have a crack at pinpointing the six classic football moments
hand drawn by yours truly on Microsoft's finest or just bask in the glory of the supreme
craftsmanship on show.
Ok, this is a weird one, and I'm still not entirely sure why I am bothering to post this up, but
I have, and you are now reading it, so let's crack on.
I had what can only be described as the most vivid, lucid dream / premonition with regards to
Arsenal drawing Manchester United in the Carling Cup quarters.
Straight from the training ground Ipswich showed the careful planning and strategy that goes into
their set-pieces during last night's match against Coventry. Midfielders Jimmy Bullard and Keith
Andrews both fancied a crack at a free-kick, so they settled their dispute with a quick on-pitch
game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz doctors have given former Philadelphia Union striker Carlos Ruiz
good news about his cracked ankle, informing the Guatemalan that he does not need surgery.
Reports out of Mexico originally stated that the 31-year-old would most likely be looking at
surgery and a time table that involved a four week return to soccer at the earliest.

Are Arsenal a selling club ? The true crack(s) of the great Arsenal way ! Ibrahima Fode NDIAYE
For the last couple weeks or months or even years, Arsenal FC its board and manager are under
immense critics from all corners. The general consensus is that Arsenal are an unambitious selling
club only interested in making financial [.
Just over 21,000 saw Villa earn their place in the 3rd round of the Carling Cup the hard way
thanks to a late goal each from Eric Lichaj (80′) and Nathan Delfouneso (88′) from the
bench.
It's a game I've yet to see anything from first hand, but it sounds like we dominated the game
pretty much in the manner you'd expect over a struggling League Two side, but were frustrated by
some fine goalkeeping from 20 year old loanee, David Cornell.
The other two teams in Group D of the CONCACAF Champions League are kicking off now. If we're
gunning for second place in the group (as we probably should be), we'll want a Monterrey win here
to reduce the competition. On the other hand, a stumble by the Mexican team would open a crack in
the door to a group win and possibly an easier route through the bracket.
Eddie Johnson is back in MLS! (Getty Images)
There isn't a whole lot to report here yet. Eddie Johnson is back in Major League Soccer, the
league announced the signing today during a press conference to talk about the new amendment to the
Designated Player rule.
Johnson will be allocated to a team on Thursday.

Make of this what you will but Diego Forlan has told a Turkish newspaper that he is in talks
over a move to Inter Milan after refuting talk of him joining Galatasaray while on holiday in
Miami:
"Yes it's true. I've received an offer from Inter and to play in Milan is my dream.
Thank the football gods, for preseason is over and the Premier League season is finally upon
us.
Seven wins out of seven in preseason, one goal conceded, Sturridge our top scorer. New manager,
new assistant. What did we learn? Here are a few of my thoughts and observations feel free to add
your own.
campeonato.

In which Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez is almost robbed of both his shorts and his dignity
in fell swoop by AC Milan stalwart Alessandro Nesta during last night's Audi Cup semi-final between
the two sides.
Thankfully, a ungodly 'full crack and sack' incident was averted by some nifty multi-tasking on
the German's part.
When I woke up this morning I made sure to check the internet to confirm that last night's
result was not a dream. We really did win. We really did get 3 points. For a few brief, placid days
the Revs will occupy 7th place in the East. And I won't complain.
I'll admit, after our game against the Union I thought for sure that we'd hit rock bottom.
