We are starting to see a glimpse of the upcoming Super Bowl ads. In this one, Matthew Broderick
reprises his role from the classic movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Honda just launched "Matthew's Day Off", an extended version of their upcoming Super Bowl
commercial. (You might have seen the 10 second teaser, which went viral last week.
Mario Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, has criticised both Howard Webb and Harry Redknapp.
About Redknapp he said: "Don't make me speak about Redknapp because it will make me really mad.
It's not normal what they do in England."
No it isn't normal at all...
And in response to his suggestion that Webb should be banned for life, the PGMOB issued a statement
stating: "The integrity of our officials is beyond reproach.
While Darlington have grabbed most of the recent headlines in the race to the financial bottom
that the bottom of the Blue Square Premier seems to consist of this season, Kettering Town
remains in a critical condition itself.
On Saturday, their home match against Forest Green Rovers was called off at lunchtime, which
is unlikely to have done the stricken clubs bank account a great deal of good, and this morning the
Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph, a local newspaper which has been criticised by some supporters
as being too ready in the past to toe the Ladak party line, also stepped off the fence to deliver
its viewpoint of the recent difficulties that the club has faced.
Everyone has a price at For Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill his is a £4 million signing
on fee and a £100,000 every weekly wage if Chelsea wish to acquire his services.
Cahill has long been a Chelsea target however, his 'over the top' demands could scupper a
potential move to the London club.
Blame Mancini for City's Champions League flop
De Gea must bulk up and wise up if he's to be United's No.1 Why Villa fans must get off
McLeish's back Roberto Mancini reverted to type in the Champions League. It was so disappointing
to see Manchester City not go for it and leaving out their best two full-backs, Micah Richards and
Gael Clichy.
New Cristiano Ronaldo signature boot picture special
Shrinking violet Cristiano Ronaldo has launched the new CR Mercurial Vapor Superfly III. No, not
an improved pesticide, but rather the signature Nike football boot you can see in the mini-gallery
above. The official press release reveals that each side of the boot has a different design to
"create a striking flicker effect on pitch to stand out in the heat of game day competition".

Presenting: the new Nike CR Mercurial Vapor Superfly III, i.e, the fandangling new boots that
Cristiano Ronaldo will be sporting as of Real Madrid's game against Valencia this weekend.

10.11.2011 - Así como el maduro
Pelé (71) no puede dejar de hablar de
Maradona,
Cristiano Ronaldo vive cada vez más momentos a la sombra del nombre de
Lionel Messi.
"Los que me gritan por Messi son anormales", tiró CR el mes
pasado (09.10.
Surprising losses for Portugal and the Netherlands on the last day of Euro 2012 qualifiers
provided an unexpected end to a campaign. Portugal lost 2-1 away to Denmark while the Netherlands
were beaten 3-2 by Sweden.
Although, the Netherlands lost, they had already qualified for the tournament and they were only
looking to cement their perfect record in Group E by not losing a single game.
Oh Cristiano, how we had faith in you, hon. Perhaps in hindsight, it was all wishful thinking
about intoxication.
Spotted moving his metallic feet and poorly-tailored jeans down the Marca red carpet
last night, CR (plus his manager) was on hand to accept the Pichichi award for being La Liga's
highest scorer last season.
Cristiano Ronaldo was given a rude welcome in Zagreb yesterday and he thinks it's envy due to
the bountiful physical gifts with which he was bestowed.
He's not speaking distruths, but Cristiano Ronaldo seems very unaware of just why people boo
him:
He's an arrogant asshat, and while there are several other words to describe, that'll work just
fine for right now.
Why signing Bellamy proves Dalglish's absence from the game hasn't dulled his
instincts
When Kenny Dalglish returned to Anfield as manager in January, it was his 13-year sabbatical
from Premier League management that tended to dominate focus. Cut to eight months later, and that
obession over his ability to ‘relate' to the modern game not only seems irrelevant, it now
appears slightly silly.
USA vs. Costa Rica and USA vs. Belgium, right around the corner. Rosters are out
sometime later this week.
Something Klinsmann was once very familiar with....
And folks we've settled on it.
With Bob Bradley potentially walking like an Egyptian, there were many suggestions made some
technological and many humorous about what replaced our "Bradley's Clipboard.
Colin Randall from Salut! Sunderland, who we've talked to plenty of times before when yet
another United player signs for his club, has spoken to us about hopes for next season after all
their spending.
Scott the Red: Were you happy with Sunderland's performance last season?
Colin Randall: Pleased until the drubbing at St James' Park, ecstatic after Stamford Bridge,
despondent during the slump, moderately satisfied with 10th finish.

Real Betis baller, Achille Emaná, tried to pull a fashion sneaky on us while waiting on his
transfer madness to be settled. To the untrained eye his outfit would be nothing special, something
to run to the training ground in. However, upon closer inspection, there seem to be pieces of
sparkle that have caught our attention.
The Rapids used two of the prettiest goals you'll see all season to get an ugly win in Philly. The
heat and humidity gave the home team an advantage and they took full advantage, controlling play
and out-shooting Colorado.
Despite that, it was the Rapids who went up first, from an unlikely source.
Whilst still struggling to the cope with the loss of John O'Shea and Wes Brown to Sunderland,
we've had a chat with Collin Randall from the excellent Mackem blog, Salut Sunderland, about their
new signings.
Scott the Red: Are you pleased with the signings of Wes Brown and John
O'Shea?

Arsène won't replace Gael Clichy. He believes he has a ready-made replacement in Gibbs. Similar
to the transfer of Cashley in 2006, Arsène thinks he has a player-in-waiting.
I like Kieran Gibbs. I like his desire to get forward and his determination.
That's cold.
- And the world stopped breathing. (Dirty Tackle)
- Don't blame it on the Messi. (Jonathan Wilson)

(0703 CR M08)CHINA-RUSSIA COOP ON HIGH-SPEED RAIL DATELINE: July 3, 2011 LENGTH: 00:01:20 PKG INTRO
Russia is expanding its railway network, which may offer China greater potentials in cooperation
with Moscow, especially in the field of high-speed rail projects. Top official with state-run
Russian Railways company shows his confidence in the cooperation.
The comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo are vast: the obscene skills, the personality, the abs, the
diving it's all there if in slightly watered down form for Alexis Sanchez.
Alexis also retains the possibility of this summer's most expensive signing not quite CR
territory, however as he's heavily rumored to be off to Barcelona for many many wheelbarrows of
euros.
Apologies for the delay in bringing you parts three and four of Groan's season review I've just
had knee surgery that has spectacularly sapped me of energy. On the mend though now, and confined
to sitting down, so I've not really got an excuse anymore, do I? Just to recap, I've already
covered the keepers and the defence, and today is all about the midfield.
Seattle's Fredy Montero post-surgery Twitpic. Go Sounders indeed.
T'was a looong week last week, Kickettes, so forgive our ill-fated attempts at keeping
a semi-professional/regular schedule. Fortunately, as we flooded our insides with in-flight
alcohol, we found some superb shots of a CR JR being craddled by his papa.
Real Madrid's Kaká and his wife Caroline are the proud parents of their second child their
first girl born Saturday evening in Sao Paolo, Brazil. If you've been keeping close tabs on this
baby like we've been, then you'd already know that this purrty couple elected to name their newborn
Isabella because of the moniker's religious significance.
delanteros.
Just thought I'd add this post as a bit of an experiment. I wonder how many cr*p sp*m comments
'readers' will try and post. It's been amusing me for a while now all the spun comments and blatant
plugs for websites that have nothing to do with the beautiful game that get posted. Be interesting

On the 30 September 1996 Monsieur Wenger arrived at Chateau Arsenal to find a heavy task in
front of him. The most recent successful vintage was becoming a little stale, it had pretty good
body, and sometimes an exquisite finish but in all fairness it was far too unrefined when drinking
and often a bit dull and boring, drinkers were not so keen anymore, and supporters of other
Chateaus would often taunt Chateau Arsenal for its lack of imagination, and predictability.
The best type of rivalries are those which involve one player/coach who is world class, and
another who is just...sorta just is. Walter Pandiani's a good player, but he's nowhere near
Cristiano Ronaldo, yet he's seen fit to keep the barbs coming.
Kind of reminds of the infamous NBA rift between Kobe Bryant and Raja Bell in which the latter
had some derogatory statements toward the superstar, who "Does he know me?

Sevilla, a very good club in its own right, will march up against the behemoths of Real Madrid
in the Copa del Rey semifinal on Wedneday. Tough ask. In order to put the fear of both God and red
body paint into their rivals, they whipped up this little viral in which they tell Mourinho "we
will leave you without the title" in Portuguese.
Seems about that time of year again where we can get a decent look at the ESM Golden Shoe, which
goes to the man who gives Ray Hudson the most pants disturbances.
At this point last year, it seemed that Wayne Rooney was running away with it...that is unless a
certain Mighty Mouse named Lionel Messi could come good.
Blackburn Rovers have offered Ronaldinho a three year contract worth an astonishing £20
million. Anuradha Desai, chairwoman of Blackburn owners Venky's, said on BBC Radio Lancashire today
that:
"He is keen to play in the EPL [English Premier League] and I think that goes in our favour.
