Standing on a rooftop overlooking the site of the Philadelphia Union's future stadium, I
couldn't help but see the pieces being put into place for a club that should help revitalize soccer
on the East Coast.
As cranes lowered ten-ton cement blocks into place to piece together the Union's stadium, you
could stand inside the unfinished building and see the vision.

Tomasz Kuszczak (left) is a reserve goalkeeper for Manchester United.
Recently he made all the headlines for calling the Old Trafford No. 1 'keeper Edwin van der Sar
(right) selfish, damn selfish. It's creating a bit of a controversy in England, and I'm pretty sure
it's because Kuszczak needed to try to find a way to become relevant.

It would be fair to say that Kelvin Koogan's 'love it!' rant on Sky was our nailed on Number One

Being an Arsenal blog, and unable to review books like A Cultured Left Foot does so well due to
family and university commitments, there is not much in the way of reviewable media. That all
changed this week as Arsenal Station received a copy of "The Gooner Review" DVD. I had seen the
trailer and was really looking forward to seeing what the filmmakers had done.

OK, so we are now on our official 48hour countdown to our first game on Thursday. Today we had a
decent practice, working on our midfielders and finishing.
We had to cancel tonight's practice due to the fires here in L.A. so we had a chalk and talk
session regarding attacking set plays.
Here are some useful facts about attacking set plays:

Javier Aguirre took a chance on Miguel Sabah. Former Coaches Sven Goran Eriksson, Ricardo

winning goal.
Charlie Davies early goal gave the US an un-expected lead, but after that the American shape
collapsed and defending was at times shambolic.

he would be at Old Trafford next season, the reigning world player of the year said: "I don't

PREVIEW
Home United's fate in the AFC Cup will be determined by the outcome of this fixture after their
away defeat to Vietnamese club Binh Duong.
However, Mr PN Sivaji's men should take some comfort for the fact they had not lost their last two
games since that lost in Vietnam, but there's no room for complacency as the club jolly well know
that further participation in this continental tournament means a victory at all costs against this
Thai side.

Right, well the countdown is well and truly on for tomorrow night and the game against United is
unquestionably the biggest game of the season so far.
A Champions League semi-final first leg at Old Trafford against the holders. Blimey, and such.
The manager is very much aware of how important an away goal is and has promised to be 'audacious'
tomorrow night.

Another week has passed and the top of the rankings are a little clearer. One reason that the view
at the top is so clear is the Super Bonus Points awarded to the four clubs that have reached the
semifinals of the UEFA Champions League. (Super Bonus Points also were awarded to CONCACAF
Champions League semifinalists, but those still weren't enough to put any of those clubs into the
rankings.

I warned everybody last week that all hell was going to break loose in the WCR
Top 25 and I didn't lie. This week we have eight new clubs in the WCR Top 25, including five
teams debuting in the Top Ten, including Lazio, Valencia and Bayer Leverkusen. The reason for
this is that last season's results were removed from the statistics used to determine the countdown
and the numbers got jumbled in England, Germany, Italy and Spain.
