Fiorentina: Aquilani Rejected Loan Deal
Fiorentina have confirmed that want-away Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani rejected a season
long loan move to the club, insisting that the move be on a permanent basis or not at all. We
reported this news late last month amidst speculation that the midfielder was set for a return to
his homeland, and Fiorentina's Director of Football Pantaleo Corvino has now confirmed that a deal
had been in place before Aquilani called it off in an effort to engineer a permanent switch.

Alberto Aquilani's agent remains positive that a deal to take his client to Fiorentina this
summer can still be reached, even desite reports earlier today suggesting a loan move was out of
the quesiton . Aquilani would prefer to make the switch to Italy on a permanent basis to avoid
having to spend another summer in limbo when the curtain comes down on the 2011/12 campaign.
