LOS ANGELES -- Chandler Hoffman can't stop scoring and thanks to the junior forward's incredible

Pablo Correa is stepping down as Nancy's coach. The Uruguayan manager who also was a striker for

Tonight, the Terez Paylor at the KC Star is reporting the finalization of a contract with Julio
Cesar Santos Correa, the Brazilian center back. Last week, Robb Heineman posted on Twitter that
Cesar and Milos Stojcev would be announced within the week. Well we have the first one of those now
according to the Star.
Before all the news about the Gold Cup and the stadium came out today, Robb Heineman threw out a
little bit of news for Sporting KC fans to start the day. First Heineman tweeted that the team is
expecting to announce the signings of Julio Cesar Santos Correa and Milos Stojcev in the next week
or so.
Trinidad and Tobago youth international, Daneil Cyrus is now gone from camp with Kansas City. Cyrus
did not play in the team's double header against Portland and Montreal last weekend and was again
not in the lineup last night when KC took on the Arizona Sahuaros. There'd been no word on what had
happened to him but some were speculating that he was gone.
On the same day that KC announced the trade of Jack Jewsbury, the team announced the signings of
three new players that will be on the roster for the 2011 season. The first of those, is first
round draft pick, CJ Sapong. The number 10 overall pick is the least surprising of the three
signings. KC liked the size and look of Sapong and his ability to play any of the three forward
positions in the 4-3-3 formation.
We're officially less than a month until Sporting Kansas City kick off their season, and less than
24 hours before the first MLS teams kicks a ball in a real game when Real Salt Lake and Columbus
play the first leg of their CONCACAF Champion's League Quarterfinal match-up. And today after 5
days away, KC returned to Arizona for the rest of their preseason training.
Sporting Kansas City and defending Champion Colorado scrimmaged on Saturday to 0 - 0 result. Kansas
