Last week I threw out some names that you may have already heard in line for next year's MLS
SuperDraft and I am back today with a few more. I hope to start making this list at least a twice a
month deal up until the draft in January.

Upsets ran rampant through the second round of the NCAA Tournament, and the third round gets
underway with half of the top seeds knocked out. Last weekend's biggest upset saw No. 4 Ohio State
knocked out by underdogs Drake.
That was one of the bigger surprises, while three unseeded ACC teams knocked out their seeded
opponents, leaving the powerful conference with six of the remaining 16 teams.
If you want a sneak peak of things to come in Major League Soccer then look no further to this
weekend's action in the College Cup. Of the four teams left in the field, all include several
MLS-ready players.
There really is no big separation between these four schools. One is unbeaten and the rest are
dominate ACC figures that we're use to seeing make it this far into the tournament.
The 2010 MLS Draft is still five weeks away, and while some of the best prospects expected to be
available in the draft are still completing their college seasons, fans have already started to
consider what their teams might be doing when the draft arrives.
It isn't too early to start thinking about the talent that will be available, and if the 2009
draft showed us anything, it is that quality MLS starters can be found among the players coming out
of the college ranks.

Tournament season is finally here, and today marks the kickoff of one of the premier tournaments
in men's college soccer. The ACC, regarded by many as the best conference in the nation, gets
underway today with a play-in match between Clemson and Virginia Tech.
The NSCAA announced on Wednesday the 15 semifinalists for the 2009 Men's Hermann
Trophy.
Minnesota Native Teal Bunbury is amongst the list of 15 names.
Bunbury started all 22 games for the Zips...scored 17 goals and added five assists (through 11/30)
to lead the team with 39 points.

The 2010 Major League Soccer Draft is shaping up to be a strong one, and the league took steps
toward that reality on Tuesday with the announcement of the signing of seven quality draft
prospects.
Teal Bunbury, Jack McInerney, Dilly Duka and Blair Gavin were announced as the league's first
four Generation adidas signings of the winter, while Toni Stahl, Andre Akpan and Zach Loyd were
also announced as senior signings, meaning they already have MLS contracts heading into next
month's draft.

what we might see happen when the league's 16 teams converge on Philadelphia to select from this
year's crop of talent.

As of today we have four quality players in the 2010 Generation adidas class but soon enough we
could have a few more. Both SBI and Buzz Carrick are reporting that multiple big names could be
joining the already impressive class for next month's draft.

players is starting to come out. Today MLS released the list of seniors that were invited to the
MLS combine in Fort Lauderdale this coming January. Also today, thanks to Buzz Carrick over at the

Happy New Year's Eve everyone! Only two weeks left until the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. A little time
has passed since the last Mock Draft but a lot has changed in terms of Generation adidas signings
which will cause some changes at the top of the order. I've also had a chance to speak with a few
folks around the league about their club's selections which has helped change a couple things here
and there as well.
The tenth annual MLS draft is scheduled to take place on Thursday January 14th, 2010 in
Philadelphia, PA. The draft will consist of 4 rounds, with 16 picks in each round. As the new 2010
expansion team the Philadelphia Union will receive the first pick in each of the four rounds. The
MLS champions, Real Salt Lake, will get the final pick of each round.
