Mitt Romney is so far removed from how conservative Republicans perceive their representative for
the party's presidential nomination should be that his winning could spur a break-off
candidate.
Newt Gingrich looks the part to take this on if Romney wins the Republican nomination.
It seems the Tories simply can't get involved with altering contracts...it would be utterly
unthinkable for then to intervene in RBS boss Stephen Hester's bonus. This is definitely a tricky
one but the bottom line is that that bank is just not performing.
The interesting point for me is that whilst the Conservatives hold contracts in the financial
services sacred they just take it as a given they can totally rip-up the contracts of all those

Why does Mitt Romney want to be President of the United States?
The answer doesn't seem as clear as it should. He'll say it's to restore America back to the way it
should be or to save America from going under and never recovering, but still he's never really
addressed why it has to be him to be at the top calling the shots.
The tories have outdone themselves this time. Somehow they think they've vetoed a major treaty
that's actually gone ahead anyway leaving us basically out in the cold.
Our neighbours have gone ahead and done everything without us so all Cameron has achieved is to
drive a wedge between us and Europe for no other reason than to appease his own party's xenophobic
Tea-Party element.
It doesn't look that way. He's not getting any bump in the polls from them. But, why not? Their
everywhere on television, showing up often during the highest rated shows and sports events.
The spots are awesome.
I know the Conservatives are a pretty paltry ever-dwindling bunch in Scotland but was this attempt
to gain some cheap publicity or a way of finishing themselves off permanently?

That's precisely what David Cameron thinks about government. He simply can't understand what all
the guys in headsets – the civil service – are up to. And he says it's not just him they're
annoying – they're pushing past or obstructing the whole private sector.
This is just breathtaking...at the same times as devastating public services under the maxim "We
are all in this together" they are cutting taxes for multi-national companies.
Sickening and vile. NEVER TRUST A TORY!
At the moment tax law ensures that companies based here, with branches in other countries, don't
get taxed twice on the same money.
