Charlie Davies was in serious but stable condition after several hours of surgery following a
deadly car accident that claimed the life of 22 year old Ashley J Roberta.
Although the injuries suffered by Davies were not life threatening they were serious enough that
his playing career could be threatened.

For all of the praise that Bob Bradley has gotten and deserved for his win in Switzerland
(breaking a 5 game European losing streak), 2007 Gold Cup champions, wins against Egypt and Spain,
and 2009 Confederation Cup runners-up, he has gotten condemned for unimaginative performances
against El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Trinidad and Tobago in World Cup Qualifying.

rimediato in campionato.

It's been a while since I've done an article commentary, so I thought I'd take on Jamie
Trecker's latest article about the USA's summer results. I'm not Trecker's biggest fan, but this
commentary isn't as much about bashing his article as it is about spurring a little debate.Â
Trecker questions how successful this summer was for the Yanks, and it's an good conversation to be
had.

It was the perfect set up;Â A Mexican squad in dire need of a win to gain back confidence, A

nothing.Â
The damage is done. After huge summer gains with the American sports fans, U.S. Soccer

visto protagonista.

Montero's goal is likely to always remain controversial.
This was an important game for both teams in the league standings and each club had multiple
starters out due to injuries and national team call ups. Even though neither team was at full
strength this turned out to be a well played entertaining game.

Lost in the whirlwind tour of South Africa and the Confederations Cup, which brought outlets
from Harper's to Deadspin to what seemed like every newspaper in the country out for a week-long
soccer columning festival, was the demise of Brad Friedel's once heralded (here at least) soccer
academy in Ohio.

Well, LD earned his #10 jersey by validating his skill against some of the world's most feared

every one he allowed, he stopped four rockets off the feet/heads of some of the globe's greatest
playmakers.

The United States of America beat the European Champions Spain 2-0 and then nearly kncked the
