Acura just released the extended version of their Super Bowl ad featuring the highly anticipated
NSX, six days before the :60 TV spot will air in the third quarter of the big game.
The video depicts the over-the-top antics of comedians and famous car collectors Jerry Seinfeld
and Jay Leno as they bid to be the first in line to take delivery on the first Acura NSX
supercar.
Last summer I heard rumours that Paul Gascoigne was dead. Unlike the rest of the rubbish that
circulates the ether, sadly this had the ring of truth. He had been looking more pale and drawn
than ever and the stories more bizarre, if that were possible.
Gazza stopped being daft as a brush years ago but the nation kept on laughing.
With a week to reflect on the last 10 months of footy I can safely come to conclusion that it
was a belter! This 2010-2011 brought us the tightest Premiership in yonks with just the cats
whiskers separating the top teams from the bottom. Some people are preaching that it was a very
weak league compared to others of the past but surely the smaller gap points means that it is
improving as a whole with the so called smaller fish giving the big whales a run for their
money.
Lots of interesting media stories this week, particularly related to television rights. I probably
don't need to dedicate an entire post to the subtext of the FA gearing up for a possible battle
with UEFA over television rights monies from England qualifiers amid news that YouTube is going to
get into the live sports streaming business.
