I think MLS got it wrong. I know people think that Kenny Cooper deserves it for coming back from a (non-life threatening) injury to have a great career. Which, sure, that's great. But MLS really lost a chance to do something good. Sure, lots of people care about Kenny Cooper and know his name (mostly to whine 'why didn't Bradley call him up').
