If you just can't get enough Chicago Fire action with 17 home games, the option to travel to an
away game is always there. Section 8 Chicago, the Independent Supporters Association for the
Chicago Fire Soccer Club, has a part of their website dedicated to Away Trip planning and
discussion. Once the season gets closer, Section 8 is the place to go to purchase away tickets and
for some games, away game bus tickets that depart from Chicago.
Major League Soccer will release the full schedule tomorrow at 1:00 PM CST but a couple of
different outlets have combined to give us a picture of 10 of the 34 MLS Regular Season games. The
bulk of this information comes from the Chicago Fire front office sending out a sneak peak E-mail
this afternoon that included the 'Significant Six': six top games to amp up the excitement.
Remember when, in the wake of a guy who posted a video himself screaming "nigger" at a Revs
player who had scored on a penalty kick in the dying minutes of a game at Columbus Crew Stadium,
MLS Rumors claimed Columbus Crew supporters chanted things like "Sieg Heil," "White Power" and
branded their groups with fascist symbols?

In anticipation of this Saturday's CONCACAF Gold Cup Final which will pin two neighboring
rivals, The United States and Mexico, against each other once again, we thought we'd revisit a
couple historic US National Team performances again Mexico featuring none other than some former
and present New England Revolution greats-just to help you get pumped up.
Portland and Vancouver are justifiably getting the attention this year, along with the Sounders.
But maybe I'm just helplessly MLS 1.0, because I'm really excited about Kansas City.
Well...not the roster, so much. But everything else.
Oh, God, no, not the name. Yes, all these people are wrong.
The autographed, game-worn jerseys from the U.S. Women's World Cup Team who faced Japan on May 14
at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, raised a total of $20,597.44 via an online auction. The
proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the American Red Cross to benefit tsunami relief efforts in
Japan.
Un falta de Patrick IANNI dentro del area resultó en un penal a favor del Columbus Crew para que

Major League Soccer is re-launching its Reserve League this year, with games beginning even this
weekend. The MLS Reserve League is going to provide developmental opportunities to players we
didn't really get a chance to see in 2010, like Corben Bone. The Reserve League is also the entire
reason first team rosters went from 24 in 2010 to 30 players in 2011.
The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team will play a pair of domestic matches in May to prepare for
the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, facing Japan on May 14 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio,
and on May 18 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
The match at Columbus Crew Stadium will kick off at 6:30 p.
While much of the world will focus their beady, little eyes on the European Champions League (and
we can't blame them), MLS fans and fans in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Honduras all have horses in
CONCACAF's version of the Champions League.
American soccer has a chance to make a big mark on the regional stage.
