We've been slow to post on the pics doing the rounds of Irina Shayk's Autumn/Winter 2012
campaign for Replay Jeans. Reason being we're conflicted.
Yes, Irina's topless. We can obviously see that. But she's also wearing fingerless
gloves in various colours and textures.
As the smoke cleared Monday morning in the city of Milan, there was no question who won the latest
edition of the Derby della Madonnina the night before. The sun shone a bit brighter and
everything tasted a bit sweeter for those wearing the Nerazzurri colours. In a hard fought battle
over 90 minutes, the warriors wearing the black and blue of Milan were victorious.
Happy Boxing Day! To start off this marvelous day, here's Mario Balotelli's
specially designed Christmas cake complete with an evil looking Santa Claus (is that a
knife on good ol' Noel Noel?!) You see, Manchester City came up with a
pretty brilliant idea where they got players to compete for the title of 'Best Christmas
Cake Decorator'.

It could be you... Thanks to everyone who entered the competition to win a Savile Rogue football
scarf. It was a very popular competition, but the triumphant winner selected at random is... Tom
Hostler. Tom opted for the Mancini-esque Manchester City scarf featured above as his prize.
Hopefully that will cheer him up [.
Love Follow Conquer – LFC jackets up for grabs
BACK in more simple times the only writing to be found on a Liverpool shirt was the letters
under the Liverbird. "L.F.C." No space was given over to Hitachi, Crown Paints or Candy. There was
no room for the name of the kit manufacturer, just a small logo – at most.
In an age when football merchandise tends to consist of club logos printed onto cheap tat made from
acrylic or polyester, it's always reassuring to come across something a bit different. Something
with a touch of class. So we've teamed up with Savile Rogue to give you the chance to win one of
the world's [.
Liverpool has recalled Jonjo Shelvey from his loan spell at Blackpool as speculation mounts about
the severity of Lucas Leiva's knee injury.
Shelvey, 19, has scored six goals in ten Championship appearances for the Seasiders, including a
hat-trick in the 5-0 thrashing of Leeds earlier this month.

Victoria Beckham is having the best week ever. She's got the cutest baby on the planet, she's
just won a major award and today she's debuted a fab video short for her S/S 2012 denim
collection.
Done exclusively for AnOther Magazine's website and directed by Quentin Jones, the
video is described as being:

Thnx @esanchez6 for the tip!
Remember that time, way back when, where we charted Skankocity's course? That was loads of
laughs, right?
Well, there's finally something better. One that didn't require us lifting a fancy finger to
create.
In honour of Carlos Bocanegra's 100th cap with the USMNT which he earned last night versus
Slovenia US Soccer has put us and our charts to shame with their aptly-titled Bocagraphic.
It is no surprise that former Arsenal defender Martin Keown is considered a legend at the Club as
he confessed that the Arsenal red and white were the only colours with which he felt complete.
Speaking ...
Carl Jenkinson: the more I ponder his position as a player for the Arsenal, the more I grow to
admire him. Not position as in right-back, you understand. No, his position as a 19-year-old
footballer who only last season was propping up a part-time, non-league outfit on freezing nights
in front of a handful of fans.
I'm pathetic at cards. I pick up the rules easily enough but then it's pretty much all a blur.
So few numbers and colours, frankly it's not that complex, but if you waited for me to work out
what to do, you'd be there all night. And people round the table, staring...Whatever the opposite
of a poker face is, I've got it.
It's been a fun old season for Hougang United. They changed their name from Sengkang Punggol, and
their colours and their badge and their nickname...makes you wonder why they weren't considered a
new club, reached the League Cup final and gave many of the top teams a run for their money,
defeating the likes of Tampines Rovers and SAFFC.

Granted, we're only seeing dribs and drabs, but it seems like Joe Cole is doing alright for
himself over in Northern France indeed, the Cockney sparra managed to rack up his second goal in
Lille colours during their 3-1 victory over Lyon on Sunday evening, sliding in to score and
celebrating by hoisting a conveniently placed Union Jack.
The arrival of Qatar investment authority as the club's new owners has allowed the Parisian club to
find its colours in terms of marketing the brand.
So the last of the Mohicans in Raul Meireles scores and sets up Torres to set Chelski on their way
to a 5-0 win against Belgian side Genk (Ever been to Belgium? Its quaint and compact).
I was surprised when Meireles left Liverpool and I think we have missed his guile and craft and his
goal-scoring abilities, yet it was strange to see him linking up with another former Red in Torres
in Chelsea colours to secure an emphatic win for Abramovic 5-0.
Thanks to all that took part in the recent competition to win a Spurs COYS shirt courtesy of
COYStheshirt. There were some good entries, and some strange ones, but the winning caption to the
picture of Redknapp and Wenger was from Nevbrand with this:

Boys'Nevbrand wins a COYS shirt in a colour and size of their choice.
The cartoon featured today on Sport.es right expresses the anxiety we Barca fans have about
International breaks. It's not like we lost so much after International breaks, but there is no
denial that a number of our lackluster performance came following the break. But this time around
we shouldn't have such thoughts crossing our mind as the cartoon say "We got Andres Iniesta - The
Anti FIFA Virus Guys".
No surprise given their "issues."
But wonder what their response will be.
1.Learn, dynamically rebrand/engage and go again - (requires a massive change of strategy)
2. Head in the sand; and increase Croatian colours and imagery around the ground and celebrate the
annual winning of the ACT Premier League thru simply paying more dough.
Australian A-League club Newcastle Jets unveiled its 2011/12 home and away kits from from
Australian sportswear firm ISC on Friday. According to the club's website, the home kit "sees the
return of Newcastle's iconic colours, red and blue, the same colours worn by fellow Novocastrian
representatives, the Newcastle Knights.

Referee Darren Adie put in a performance which Bath City's U18s would surely describe as "pants"
in an FA Youth Cup clash with Newport County.
The official ordered a number of the Bath players to change their underpants, which were white
and visible under their black shorts, thus contravening the law that states shorts and
underpants/cycling shorts worn underneath must be the same colour.
Craven Cottage Newsround has teamed up with Savile Rogue to give you the chance to win one of
the world's finest cashmere football scarves in Fulham colours.
Savile Rogue scarves give a nod to football terraces of yesteryear, shunning in-your-face logos
and cheap nylon in favour of a traditional bar design and the comfort, quality and warmth of top
grade wool.
Green armies There promises to be an odd colour scheme at tonight's Championship match between
Brighton and Leeds. Both sets of supporters are being urged to ditch their usual colours and where
green to highlight the plight of Plymouth Argyle. Just a few weeks into its career, Brighton's
Falmer Stadium will be 'swapping sides' in [.
Steven Gerrard returns to Liverpool colours after six-month lay-off
• Result gets 4-0 defeat at Spurs out of system, claims Gerrard • Kenny Dalglish feels he

with groin trouble and claimed the team's 4-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday was "out of our
system now" with this third-round Carling Cup win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

When and where is it better to show your real colours than in a derby? Our beloved team have the
opportunity to do this on Saturday against Aston Villa in Birmingham. So far so good. No lost
points, but Villa away is a real challenge. Funny enough they have played the same teams as we

Lauri Dalla Valle has been sent to Dundee United on loan. This might not mean much to you, but
it's a nice reminder of days gone by for me.
(First things first, Dundee United play in orange-black-orange. If I started a team from scratch
my team would wear these colours. I haven't thought about this seriously for about 25 years, but
this was always my position on the matter: any football club I found would wear
orange-black-orange.

I assume that, like us, you've been patiently waiting for some new developments in the abduction
of John Obi Mikel's father. Well, we have received some great news today: Michael Obi has been
recovered, a bit battered but alive and well after police raided the kidnappers' den Monday.
Michael Obi speaks for the first time since his abduction.

It was his debut for Man City, and Maradona's 'yerno' did not waste his time scoring a
brace in last night's 4-0 win over Swansea. It's weird not seeing him in Atleti
colours, but we're guessing Kun had been seeing blue (cough *Chelsea*) the whole of last season
anyway.

Man City got off to a flyer on their own patch last night with a 4-0 rollicking of
newly-promoted Swansea, in which, minutes after Edin Dzeko had opened the scoring, Sergio Aguero
emerged for the last half-an-hour and still managed to bag himself a brace (including a corker from
the edge of the box) and an assist, with his groin-twanging flick setting up David Silva to volley
home City's third goal of the night.
Today Chelsea have revealed their new 3rd kit for this season and I have to say straight away
WHY!!?.
Why on earth do we need a 3rd kit that has black and yellow on it for god sake, so please someone
tell me, I thought your kit was supposed to represent your club! How on earth does this one
represent us?

Should you pitch in with financial products that earn money for your club?
Football fans can now support their favourite team by opening a saving account that diverts a
slice of the interest to the club or taking out a credit card in the colours of their heroes which
helps fund their side's youth set-up.
I'm not sure if this is going to work and sustainable, but this should be the best way to get those
pictures I taken to be tabulated in an orderly manner so as to allow users to access them easily
(which I hope so).
Or if anyone has a better solution to put everything in order, please feel free to email me at
kopohui@bolasepako.
