As you may know, American Soccer News has dedicated Twitter accounts for each of the 16 Major
League Soccer teams. Some are more active than others, for various reasons. Some also have a much
better following than others. Take a look at the standings (as of 8:30pm EST, Dec. 2):
1. LA Galaxy (730 followers)
2.
A step in the right direction? After looking like the Rapids would not be making
preseason trips back to England and sister club Arsenal anytime soon, I found this Arsenal blog
detailing a March 1 game between Colorado and The Gunners. Hope Pablo doesn't slide tackle Robin
Van Persie too hard on his comeback game.

I set up the All-Colorado women's team with a nearly identical intro, so if you want to skip
ahead straight to the team, feel free.
Below you will be able to find hundreds of items sending you throughout the Internet and
Blogosphere to all the latest news and updates for the 2010 MLS Combine and 2010 MLS Super
Draft.
The Best Coverage -- 3rd Degree
Buzz Carrick is the definitive source for all things MLS Combine and MLS SuperDraft.
The boots are hung up, the exit physicals are done and the Colorado
Rapids players get some much needed time off to rest up over the holidays before
coming back into the rigors of preseason at the end of January. Some people who may not be resting
quite as much include Gary Smith and Steve Guppy.

In honor of Fort Lewis College winning its second NCAA Division II championship in men's soccer,
The Tuesday List is going to look at some of the amazing statistics the Raiders, er, Skyhawks
compiled this season.
The loan deal for Landon Donovan would be of the short-term variety, similar to what he did
earlier this year with Bayern Munich.
It would be a good shop window for Donovan as he either seeks a foreign club or strengthen his
bargaining position with MLS over an improved contract.
Everton have little money to spend so it's unlikely to become permanent, but Everton manager
David Moyes, who has worked with the likes of Brian McBride at the club level in the past, at least
respects Americans more than your average English coach (or knows a good, relatively inexpensive
deal when he sees one).

Landon Donovan's Everton journey has yet to begin, but the last piece of the puzzle fell into
place today. The final hang up in the process was a work permit allowing Donovan to secure the
10-week loan agreement with the Liverpool-based club.
Colorado Rapids forward Conor Casey is among the 30 players invited to the U.S. men's national
team's training camp that will begin workouts January 4 at The Home Depot Center in Carson,
California.
Casey and the group will prepare for the United States' first match of 2010, a friendly against
fellow FIFA World Cup finalists Honduras on January 23 at The Home Depot Center.
So if Freddy Adu comes home, where should he go? (Getty Images)
So it is a slow news day and I'm nearly thinking of taking the rest of the year off here. Still
I wanted to post some extra thoughts on Freddy Adu and where in Major League Soccer he could go to.
SBI posted some teams earlier and I wanted to add to it along with giving my thoughts on the teams
already mentioned.

FIFA announced that nothing will change with the way referee's work for next summers World Cup.
Goalkeeper coach Leo Percovich has announced that he is leaving Chivas USA in order to join up
again with Preki at Toronto FC.
"We would like to thank Leo Percovich for his service to our club," said Stephen Hamilton, Chivas
USA Vice President of Soccer Operations. "He has been an important part of the team for the past
two seasons, and we wish him the best in his new position.
The holiday season is in full force here as we have (gasp!) nine days until Christmas! Yikes.
Anyways it seems like a perfect time to sit back and look at what each team and the league in
general should be putting on their Christmas shopping lists this year.
Now I will admit some of this is purely for fun while the rest may be serious wishes that people
out there probably want for their teams.
In the past, the Colorado Rapids asked members of the media to participate in voting for the
annual team awards, but there were more categories. In 2006, for instance, I voted on rookie of the
year, the leadership award, playmaker of the year, reserve team MVP, most improved player, defender
of the year and team MVP.
MLS coaching openings are still hot topics of debate in Chicago, DC United and New York.
New York seems to be close to the vest with their search.
With Akron's Caleb Porter given a contract extension with the Zips, Curt Onalfo appears to be the
chief candidate for DC.
In Chicago, rumors have their search down to two candidates - Tom Soehn and Jesse March - although,
according to ESPN Chicago's Charlie Corr, there are other candidates just as worthy.

It's been three weeks since our first look at the number of followers each Major League Soccer
team has through its ASN Twitter account. With the onset of the Christmas to New Year's week, and
its corresponding dearth of real news activity, we figured now would be a good a time as any to
revisit the standings.
2009 Recap: Another year, another missed opportunity for the Reds. Toronto was
on the cusp of making the playoffs, but they ultimately missed out by a single point. Despite
bringing in some high profile talent, the Reds just couldn't seem to field a consistent side.
The Colorado Rapids' postseason media guide is full of wonderful information, and today The
Tuesday List going to look at a list of the Rapids' records under certain circumstances, like when
they scored only one goal or how many games they won in October or how they fared after being tied
at halftime.
