The Adams State College men's soccer team snapped its 265-minute scoreless streak on Monday
against Colorado Christian but could not capture its first-ever win. The Grizzlies and CCU tied 1-1
at Cougar Field in Lakewood.
Adams State sophomore midfielder Peter Freeman ended the goal-less skid in the 35th minute,
scoring his second goal of the season.
Sophomore midfielder Riley Gallagher scored his first goal of the season and junior goalkeeper
Adam Liszewski increased his shutout string to 276-plus minutes as the Colorado-Colorado Springs
men's soccer team claimed a 1-0 victory over visiting Adams State College on Tuesday night at
Mountain Lion Stadium.
Chelsea Reichard, Jordan Miller and Heather Thomas scored as the Regis University women's soccer
team defeated Colorado Christian 3-1 on Saturday in Denver.
Five minutes, 18 seconds into the second half, Reichard scored to put Regis up by one. Katie
Horn assisted her on the play. 19 seconds later, Colorado Christian's Mallorie Kenczewicz tied the
game on an assist from Jessica Smith.
The Regis University men's soccer team sent its four seniors off in style, defeating Colorado
Christian 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon in a makeup game from Friday. The Rangers ended the regular
season with a 9-5-4 record and will face Fort Lewis in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference
tournament on Friday afternoon.
The sixth-ranked Metropolitan State College women's soccer team stretched its winning streak to
12 games with a 3-0 win against Colorado Christian on Wednesday in Lakewood.
The Roadrunners improved to 14-1-0 overall and 11-0-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference,
while the Cougars dropped to 4-5-2 and 2-5-1 in the RMAC.
Euan Purcell's treble and Byron Cephers' brace led the Fort Lewis College men's soccer team as
it recorded an 11-0 victory against Colorado Christian University on Sunday in Lakewood.
Fort Lewis, ranked No. 6 in the nation, recorded 49 shots in the victory to improve to 13-1
overall, 10-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
