The No. 13 Metropolitan State College women's soccer team, led by Becca Mays' three goals, cruised to a 5-1 victory over Colorado-Colorado Springs on Friday evening in Colorado Springs. The Roadrunners improved to 8-1-0 overall and 5-0-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while UCCS dropped to 2-4-0, 1-4-0 in conference.

The Adams State College men's soccer team snapped its 265-minute scoreless streak on Monday against Colorado Christian but could not capture its first-ever win. The Grizzlies and CCU tied 1-1 at Cougar Field in Lakewood.

Adams State sophomore midfielder Peter Freeman ended the goal-less skid in the 35th minute, scoring his second goal of the season.
