The No. 13 Metropolitan State College women's soccer team, led by Becca Mays' three goals,
cruised to a 5-1 victory over Colorado-Colorado Springs on Friday evening in Colorado Springs. The
Roadrunners improved to 8-1-0 overall and 5-0-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while
UCCS dropped to 2-4-0, 1-4-0 in conference.

Santa Clara 1, Colorado 0 OT: At Palo Alto, Calif., the Buffaloes dropped their
second contest in the Stanford?Nike Invitational. Linder would be tested two more times in a
one-minute span, coming up with the saves on both attempts, however with less than two minutes to
play in the first overtime period, Santa Clara would seal the deal and finally sneak past Linder
for the win.
The Adams State College men's soccer team snapped its 265-minute scoreless streak on Monday
against Colorado Christian but could not capture its first-ever win. The Grizzlies and CCU tied 1-1
at Cougar Field in Lakewood.
Adams State sophomore midfielder Peter Freeman ended the goal-less skid in the 35th minute,
scoring his second goal of the season.

Colorado College 4, New Hampshire 0: The Tigers cashed in on a pair of corner
kicks early in the match and never looked back. Sophomore defender Beth Wright scored a goal and
assisted on another in the opening 13 minutes of play at Stewart Field in Colorado Springs.
