Wednesday night's Carling Cup Manchester derby of a semifinal was supposed to be focused on
Carlos Tevez and the ongoing feud with his former team.

Philadelphia Union made it official today and signed Argentinian midfielder Eduardo Coudet.
The 35-year-old journeyman with the shock white/blonde hair will become eligible to play in the
Union's next regular season match on July 31 against New England. He has played in two
international friendlies so far, impressing in both.
